I have booked flights online many many times but have never had the problems I had with BYO. Received confirmation only to be told the next day the price had went up. They did not even advise how to pay the extra cost and when i called, although they could see my email/booking they stated i could only enquire through email for payment options! I have never ever experienced such pathetic servie bw a travel agency! I have mailet them 3 times over and over again before getting an inexperienced response! In a dispute right now. They telephoned to say a connecting flight on my schedule had been cancelled. If I accept new schedule involving a four hour earlier departure plus a 9 hour overnight at KL then a five star hotel and transfers would be provided, I replied 5 star not essential. “Poor customer service, money grabbers. ”

Everything was going fine until I discovered my girlfriend had spelt my middle names wrong. Upon trying to rectify this, we receive an email stating it will cost us $200 to change the name. This we found ridiculous, so my girlfriend headed down to emirates to see if they could do anything about it. Unfortunately they can not as we didn't go through them, but they only charge $60 to change a name. So this time we phone them instead of an email conversation. “Greedy, Rude and Stressful”

The prices may be cheap but there are hidden costs that they don't mention. They claim to have "NO BOOKING FEES* on Australian International departing flights" but in actual fact you will be charged for "admin fees" which is around $55 and credit card fees that are not explicitly stated on the site. “bad business practice - don't trust them”

Be careful with these guys!! They never indicate their booking terms and conditions. It's a lie when they claim "NO BOOKING FEE". They charge credit card fees, paypal fees and admin fees at the checkout plus hefty cancellation and rebooking fee regardless what special circumstances you have. Then you have to pay full fare for rebooking. It can be over half of the original ticket. I have to go to Fair Trading Court with them!!!… Read Full Review

I wish you good luck, hope you will sue money from them. It was my worst experience in my life dealing with them. They took money from my account even though they did not have a flight tickets for me which should be considered as unauthorized use of credit card.

I have experience with they cancel my ticket without receiving any notification. Don't USE THEM unless you can absorb uncertain about tickets and fees applied

Big thanks to the BYO girls - especially (name removed)!! I stuffed up the internet booking and received a ticket to Cancun, Mexico instead of Mexico City. When I phoned the office, (name removed) rectified it immediately.
Very efficient and friendly service. We travel often and I'll be using BYO again.
