outstanding, & very convenient

Agoda has changed the entire experience of travel for me. Before Agoda, I had to search for reasonable accommodation, by local word of mouth if necessary. It was hard that way, and also an alienating experience of feeling like such a stranger, in a new area, shopping for rooms that are suitable, etc, etc. During such times, one rarely relishes carrying luggage, looking among acceptable rooms and prices, but dearly wants to get inside, rest, shower and perhaps enjoy your locale. Last year, for the first time, I travelled with a smart phone. I had no idea the difference it would make when I bought a smartphone!! Now, I will not buy any smartphone that will not download the Agoda app.

My travel experience improved dramatically, significantly, by being able to book my accommodations while on the bus to my next destination, or in the hotel of the previous night. I usually use Agoda for this, as it is my first choice. The software is fast and prices always among the lowest. The quality of my rooms went up dramatically, but the prices did not. Although one might argue that searching for accommodation in any locale is an important experience in getting to know the culture and people in an area more genuinely, I would say it is simply not necessary. It is a huge hassle, and preventable with Agoda, and other such apps.

Again, I believe Agoda software seems to be the fastest and most clear which is very important when doing things on a smartphone, especially en route. Of all travel apps, though there are not very many, Agoda seems to be the best. Moreover, if you make a mistake on your booking date, Agoda will very quickly change it for you, if you send them an email. I know this from experience, because I once entered the wrong date for my reservation. Agoda corrected it prior to the end of the day, within hours. So, they are responsive and not just an internet website.
