Changed Booking Woes

Due to flight changes I had to alter my hotel booking by reducing the number of nights by one. I changed my booking on the Agoda website over a month prior to the booking and expected a full refund ($106AU) for the night we cancelled. The email I received from Agoda was dated 34 days prior to the arrival date which proves I made the changes to the booking outside the 31 days as stated in the following quote from Agoda. "Any cancellation received within 31 days prior to arrival date will incur a charge of 50% of the booking value. Any cancellation received within 21 days prior to arrival date will incur the full period charge." But we didn't do this and we were refunded even less than 50%. Instead of the full refund in $$ we were given 15,610 points which equates to about $25.00. I could not query the amount or method refunded as I had could not find an email address to contact only a phone number. I work long hours and find it difficult to make phone calls during office hours. The service could be improved with an email contact for these situations or even better, getting what you expected.
