“New York and Bahamas Cruise - Feb 2013”

Booked a cruise with Adore cruises departing February 8th 2013.
Should have included a 2 night stay in New York and then an 8 night cruise to the Bahamas. Due to the snow storm on the East coast of America all flights were cancelled into New York on the Friday.

We were turned back from Manchester airport and told to return home. We phoned the airport and the airline help desk, but were told no flights available (All New york airports closed) and they could not find any alternative flights until after our cruise departure from New York 2 days later.

In desperation we contacted Adore cruises and they said we could have a full refund or they would try to at least get us to the cruise ship in New York on time.

We agreed to go for the cruise at least. After several phone calls from Adore cruises (staff and the manager)giving us regular updates, we were offered a BA flight to Heathrow connecting with a BA flight to Washington DC the next day (Saturday,)finally including hotel accommodation near Washington airport. Our seats also included upgrades on the Washington flights.

On arrival at our hotel in Washington (late evening UK time) we were contacted by the manager of Adore cruises confirming early morning flights to New York which would connect with our Cruise departure.

Although missing our weekend in New York (due to snow storm) we met our cruise ship and completed an enjoyable holiday down to the Bahamas.

All credit to Adore Cruises and all their staff for rescuing a difficult situation and keeping in regular contact with us, even late Saturday night/Sunday morning UK time.

Would definitely use Adore cruises again!!!

Thanks for the kind words and thanks for your patience in what was a difficult matter which came out of the blue. I am glad you had a good time and the snow did not spoil your holiday. These things happen occasionally and we always do our best for customers. What was refreshing was you knew it was not our fault but worked with us to get you away.
