I booked a holiday with A1 travel two days ago. I found them on the Internet through iceloly. After speaking to the sales person I agreed on the Bellevue hotel in alcudia, I was told this hotel was a four star. I have since discovered that its only rated four star with A1 travel.. Every other company I can see only rates this hotel as a three star. I contacted A1 and questioned them about this... The sales person I spoke to told me that some rooms have been upgraded to 4star and some are three!! She asked me to call admin in the morning to check that I have been reserved a four star room, I was always led to believe that a hotel was rated by food, pool, rooms etc. I spoke with admin in the morning and they suggested that I could change accommodation by looking at their web page then I should call them back. I did as they asked only to find there was no other suitable accommodation, I also discovered that I had been charged £154 more over the phone for the same holiday online, I'd also been charged a credit card fee but was not told that if I booked online there would be no fee and the holiday would be cheaper. As a single mother of three kids every penny counts... I'm disgusted by the way A1 travel have treated us and will never book a holiday with them again.

Have contacted A1 travel today and basically have been told that they can charge what they want over the phone. I spoke with a manager who couldn't keep her cool and ended up screaming down the phone at me. Never have I been treated so badly by a company in my life. This company have no moral standards and are prepared to rip customers off. Never again will I deal with this unprofessional company!!
