“Do not use 321 Travel”

Written on: 05/07/2014 by dlRice330 (1 review written)

Please do not use this company, they promise so much, they do not give you the whole picture about your holiday, the additional charges it all ends up costing you much more than you planned. The bargain you think you got is nothing like that by the time you have finished! Then you have the awful challenge of their customer service to deal with, well the one person who seems to be running the show ... Mr Douglas. Go and find a company who actually cares about your holiday and will care when you… Read Full Review

If you want to only focus on the negative reviews as some people do, then yes. We send away many thousands of passengers each month without any problem and complaints are all relative to the passengers who travel. Any issue can take upto 28 days to reach a resolution after your complaint is registered and if you would like further help the TTA our trade regulator will be happy to help.

I just had a check at the Tesco reviews on here, 2 stars? Because mostly customers with any kind of problem will post online before a resolution is reached, I wouldn't call Tesco a bad company though.

“322 The pleasure vortex”

Written on: 21/05/2014 by DaxEngland (1 review written)

The price was fine and that is the only positive thing I have to say about 321. The management of their office is unacceptable. They do not have the capacity to adapt to problems imposed on them by airlines. They are unable or unwilling to communicate effectively with their customers. This is after several requests of confirmed updates/changes to be e-mailed. Then the worse of all the issues I had with this firm, and there was many. Was on arrival to Spain. Worst travel agent ever knowen to man. I was booking my stag weekend in Spain and got put through to 321 travel. The man I was dealing with couldn't have been any nicer or any more helpful while he spewed out details of flights and accommodation fit for a carlsberg advert! Perfect flights from the perfect airport, leaving 9am Friday from Glasgow to Majorca then back 1pm Monday straight to Glasgow "HAPPPY DAYS"..! Paid over the phone by card on Saturday, and me and my 15 mates were buzzing about… Read Full Review

Same happened to us, a family of four, in May this year. Took our money and the next day told us the flights weren't available and actually booked us flights from a different airport with flight changes in different countries. We paid 2 x £50 for baggage and then when we got to airports had to pay all our weight in excess baggage as they hadn't booked us any baggage allowance. Also had to pay 60 Euros for a taxi as the transfer voucher wasn't valid when we arrived in Turkey. Absolutely awful company.

This is really common with this company it's all lies and deceit with them. The manager boast about how they have four stars on here, however all the reviews are written by then it's absolutely ridiculous reading them. I've reported them to Trading Standards amongst a few others to try bring this company to the public domain. I urge others to do the same I'm sure most customers have similar complaints.

Written on: 14/04/2014 by DavianWoods (1 review written)

First. After agreeing a price for a weekend away in Benidorm for 12 lads, upon giving them my card details they tried to charge me an extra 30 tax charge each and advised that it must be charged and was outside of their control. I told them in that case I don't want to book and guess what, in less than 10 minutes they rang to say we don't have to pay. Second. Next a coupe of weeks before we were set to go I rang them to see if everything was OK. They informed me that they were sorry, had… Read Full Review

We do not change hotels last minute. Holiday Brokers went out of business and this was who your hotel was booked with. Upon trying to re book the hotel it was so close to the time the best option available was the one booked, your original hotel was fully booked. Research On Holiday Group and you will see many agents and passengers were affected by this large bedbank going into liquidation. Short on cancelling the holiday completely the only option we have is to re book you into another hotel.

warning on 321 travel. Do not use 321 travel - their terms and conditions are unfair according to guidance on unfair terms in package holiday contracts - 'a standard term is unfair if contrary to the requirements of good faith, it causes a significant imbalance in the parties' rights and obligations arising under the contact, to the detriment of the consumer'. they rattle through terms and conditions of seatsavers very quickly - I stopped the salesman several times as could not hear him well… Read Full Review

I work in the admin team at 321 Travel, so let me just clear up the 'issue' on this booking.

The booking was booked under our seat saver option, this will in simple terms be the cheapest way to get you from point A to B. If you do not wish to proceed with this booking you are within your right to do so. The key terms of this are not rushed through and customers are advised before the terms are read to listen carefully and stop us if they do not understand, they are also advised to fully read the terms on our website if they wish to do so.

If a direct flight is cheaper, you will go onto a direct flight, if not, the flight will have a stop. Many people are happy to take thier families to Eygpt for example, hundreds of pounds cheaper than normal on a seat saver fare. What some people do and are fully aware of what they're doing is see a flight for £600 to Sharm, call us, book a seat saver fare for £300, then complain to try and get a direct flight for that money.

What actually happened on this booking is the customer booked a seat saver fare which means the flight may be indirect. The passenger was called back to be notified of this as the direct flight was alot more expensive. As a courtesy the passenger was offered 5 options. Option 1, change from GLA to PIK on the same day for no extra charge. Option 2, day earlier direct flight from GLA. Option 3, pay extra for the direct flight. Option 4, a flight that had a stop on the way out only. Option 5, cancel the holiday.

There were plenty of options available and lots of help to try and resolve it. A direct flight was not available for the money paid on this booking. A booking can still be completed but all help has been refused.

They did the same to me and you will see quite a few others. They troll these sites and write their own reviews also so expect some comments from them telling them how its all your fault. It isn't, complain to your bank, to the police, to trading standards, to visa, ask for a copy of the phone recordings and the corresponding phone log, they have to provide it, and when they don't, then report that to trading standards and the police as a separate issue. Their original ts&cs on the website have been changed to suit their nefarious looking activities but I managed to keep a copy of the originals and lodge them with various bodies but beware of a snake that tries to shed it's skin.

not so angry and fed up now, as we are close to sorting it out! I thought it was worth one more call to 321 travel, rather than trying for weeks to get the money back and I have to say that their customer service was a completely different experience this time and they were very helpful. As prices and availability had changed, the solution has involved a change of date, duration and airport, with a late outward flight, but I am ok with this, as they have included the extra night of accomodation and carparking for free. They are also adding in resort transfer, which apparently was not included originally. Still finding it a bit of a hassle sorting stuff with their admin - confusing confirmation, as lots of stuff incorrect and don't know what is happening with the room, which should have been a triple, as paying adult prices, with no reductions for my two kids. At least it is nearly organised and we are going on a holiday. I am grateful for the effort that 321 travel have made to sort this out.

Any additional fees to a holiday would be quoted before the booking is confirmed, this simply would not just be added to a booking. If you would like the call recording, please give us a call and we will be happy to provide this.

Yes we do advise you to checkin at the airport, so long as you checkin with at least 2 hours to go, seating is generally not an issue, if you are any later than this problems can occur, but airlines are very understanding when it comes to this. We never have any issues with passenger seating who checkin with at least 2 hours notice.

You never apoligise for your mistakes just try and cover them up with excuses.
You should listen to the the recordings of me ringing up twice to ask and you will see that im not lying, feel free to also listen to the first recording of my booking where the man I booked with says its £18 per person in taxes which I agree to, he does not state thatais each way!!

“Be VERY wary and ask questions”

Written on: 29/10/2013 by millychristie (1 review written)

Be incredidbly wary of booking with this company. My experience was one of nothing but stress....before I travel!! The secret to dealing with this lot is to ask questions. They do offer the cheapest deals on the internet, but by the time you add on the extra's and hidden surprises, you are just as well dealing with another company, which is more clear cut. I booked the holiday over the phone, with no issues and found the gentleman to be more than pleasant. At the end they give you the usual… Read Full Review

Firstly let me just clear up, there are no 'hidden' costs, everything is quoted to you over the telephone. As in any industry, all prices are lead prices, and this is no different with travel. If you want the cheapest possible travel, with no bags or transfers, you can have just that. Call any agent on Ice lolly, teletext etc, they all operate in exactly the same manner. All prices are lead fares and available to book at that costs. If you want an Egypt holiday £200 per person cheaper than any where else, we can offer that, but you must accept the prices are that much cheaper because the flight will have a stop en-route.

Let me also point out, that when you were offered an extra day, or the option of a direct flight at an increased cost NO MONEY HAD LEFT YOUR BANK ACCOUNT and no booking made at this point. You are at liberty to refuse the alternative offers and look elsewhere. You accepted an alternative offer, this is your choice.

Your final price of £510 person to Egypt on the dates you picked is still a fair chunk cheaper than anywhere else and this will be because you booked onto a seat saver fare. If you wish not to book onto in direct flights you can do so, but this costs more money. All of this is pointed out to you during the booking process. What people seem to do is book the cheapest fare, listen to the terms of that fare, either ignore them, not pay attention, then complain afterwards. We offered you the alternative to pay the extra and book the direct flights, but even then you have complained, at that point as I said before, you should've just cancelled down your booking request as no money had left your card.

The agency bonding fee again is quoted on every telephone call, if you do not wish to pay for this, again, we can end the telephone call and you are at liberty to look elsewhere. It is not something we do not quote on the call or merely add on without notification. This bonding covers you if any part of your holiday fails, it is your full financial protection when travelling. Certificates are issued and can be sent if you wish to have them.

Transfers were included with your holiday, whether the hotel offer this or we do is irrelevant, it doesn't change the fact it was included, we still have to pay the hotel their rate which is a price including transfers.

I would agree with you, when entering into any contract, be it a mobile phone, life insurance or a holiday, listen carefully and make sure you read terms and conditions. That is what they are there for.

You gave me no alternative....You stated that it would cost me £50.00 per person to cancel this holiday, and given the way you operate, that was certainly what I wanted to do....You 'offered me an extra day'....You make that sound like it was in egypt, when in fact it was the lay-over at Luton Airport!!

I stand by my comments...DO NOT give this company any card details until you have the full cost, and your exact flight details and are 100% happy with everything. They are a genuine organisation, but as already stated, and proved by the comments above....not forth-coming with the full story.

They are cheap.....but for a reason as I come to find out!!

Quite right, we are cheap, we are able to offer holidays to places like Egypt at peak periods for hundreds and hundreds of pounds cheaper. Saving families over £1000 on a holiday, so they are able to go to places that as a family, they couldn't normally afford.

On any seat save fare that is booked (they alre not all seat savers as you imply) the first thing we say is 'We are about to read you some important terms and conditions of this booking, please listen carefully and if you do not understand any of the terms, please stop us and ask'. Before the terms are even read, we tell you to listen and ask if you do not understand. If you choose not to listen or ignore this, there isn't much more that we can do. The terms also go on to say 'this is booked on our seat save fare, which means flights will be indirect, involve a stop and/or a change of aircraft en route'.

This really cannot be any clearer and if you wish not to have this, you only have to say.

If you want exact confirmed times you pay more and get confirmed flights.

If you want the bargain deal (which many people do) hundreds of pounds cheaper, you book the seat save fare.

The options are there, your own choice.

As it turns out.....If 321 Travel don't like the comments you place on a Forum (which is for public information to allow them to make your own choice) they threaten you with legal action, and accuse you of being a liar and giving untruths

My experience is exactly that. My experience of the organisation. It is my interpretation of what I have been through.

At no point, did I say the company was wrong. I however do think they are not forth-coming with exact details.

I freely acknowledge I should have listened to the T&C's more closely as the full information was provided.....But not the exact details of flights....and that is the point I would encourage everybody to ensure they have before booking.

The £18.00 agency fee.....Yes...was told about it, but wasn't informed it was for each way of the flight.

I do invite 321 travel to share with the public the lies and untruths that I have made.

Maybe they will like to keep that for their legal action?

This is a public flatform to post your opinion on a service or product. If there are any untruths or libellous comments within that posting we will seek full recompense legally, as we are entitled to do so.

Just because this is a public platform to review a company, that does not mean only 80% of the story/version of events should be correct.

You have tried to make it sound like we have hidden costs from you and somehow skimmed past important terms. It is as much your obligation to listen to the terms and costings as it is to listen to the dates, airports being booked etc. Terms were very clear, you were asked to listen carfeully. The same goes with the costings.

The agency bonding levy having listened to the call was quoted word for word as '£18 agency bonding fee, this is a per person charge on each of the flights that you travel on, each way.

Those two 'opinions' alone are libellous in the fact you are trying to portray we hide details of a booking and costings from our customers. This is not true and will be defended vehemently. You were given full costings and read full terms. You booked a seat save fare, the very nature of this fare as explained is that you are booking on the premise of the cheapest possible way to get to point A to B, not knowing exact times upfront, they are a guideline.

You seem more intent on having the last word more than anything else. Your booking was very clear and I really cannot see what more we could've done.

I am however stating the mistakes I made while dealing with your organisation....and I re-iterate 'MY MISTAKES',

It's up to the public to make their decision from there, but threatening people with legal action certainly doesn't portray your organisation in a good light.

Hi Millychristie I have gone through the exact same situation as yourself. Me and my partner booked to go to Egypt supposed to be flying on Saturday 2nd November got told about a charge of £18 and was told this was a legal requirement at not one point of the conversation was I advised of £18 per person each way and was told and confirmed before booking and payment taken the full amount would be £838 all in this was for luggage flights hotel everything and the colleague even said to me at the end of the call there is no admin fees no additional fees on top it's just £838 and that's it so I booked it all be known that the flight got cancelled and the only other alternative was to fly back a day early wasn't happy but had no other option so accepted this and to receive my email confirmation to a total price of £910! And this was for a day les and more expensive. I called to complain and then they told me about the 'bonding fee' as it should have been advised to me previous had added an extra £72 to the holiday. This money can't now be refunded and I'm paying more money for 1 less night. I absolutely understand what you are going through this company is a joke! And I am seeking legal advice

Lucy,

You have my complete sympathy. If your e=anything like me, it certainly takes the shine off the excitement of going on Holiday.

Just check your flight details when you get them. They made two mistakes in mine (although they will off course blame the airline). I'm flying Thomson, and even on the 321 Holiday itenary, it states I should receive an e-mail confirmation from the airline, and that I may be refused if I'm unable to present such a document. 321 told me that what was on their email was sufficient. Again, before they state it is and has never been a problem in the past.....The airline told me differently, and as it's them that's flying me, I believe them more than 321.

Again, checking directly with the Airline...I was then told my booking was under MR and NOT Miss. Enough for some airlines to refuse you already. Then the gentleman asked if I would like to add a baggage allowance, as I was only permiited Hand Luggage at that stage, despite booking and paying for 20kg allowance.

I went through all the details with the Thomson gentleman, corrected the errors and had him send me their email confirmation direct to me, instead of it going to 321???

I might add at this stage, that I only went direct to the Airline, because I know from prior experience that Thomson require you to fill in API (Advanced Passenger Information), prior to the flight, and again if this information isn't provided they can refuse you on the flight. To the uninitiated, there is no mention of this on the itinery you receive from 321. It states its a requirement for Wizz, BMI Baby, Ryanair etc., but NOT Thomson flights.

I was then forced to get in contact with 321 to get them to add on my Baggage allowance with the airline, which they duly did.

Looking at the itenary I received from 321, it does state I have a 20kg allowance, but the airline stated differently, and to be honest, if it wasn't for the fact I went direct to the airline, I would have arrived at the airport, and had to pay another baggage allowance.

So to recap:-

1. Double check with your airline your allowance
2. Make sure you will in the API
3. Ensure you get the airlines email confirmation.

I even went as far as checking with my hotel in Egypt to make sure they have my booking!!!

Yet again.....another example of 321 not being forth-coming with all relevant information.

All I can say Lucy, is that I hope you have a fantastic holiday, despite the debarcle.....Its 32c...enjoy xxxx

Without going round and round in circles again.

On your passport, there are no titles, just first names and surnames. With Thomson, you are not required to add any information before travel, the airlines that require online checkin are listed. We book some 3000 seats per month without issue. Easyjet also have the option to add information beforehand, but just last week I travelled by turning up at the airport with my passport.

Your flights are not booked direct with the Airline, neither is your hotel, it is booked through ourselves, calling the hotel for example to check you are booked may well get the response 'we have no booking in the name of Smith'. That is because you are not booked directly with the hotel, so you may not show on their system.

With regards to any additional fees, please just call any company on teletext for example, credit card fee £12 a person, online checkins £20 a person, booking fees £15 a person, call it what you like, every agent has their own fees for the service they provide, afterall, it is a business.

I feel you would rather post on here than just take our advice and enjoy the holiday. If you got to the airport and had to pay for baggage for any reason, we would refund you immediately.

2 years on this site of reviews with some 80,000 passengers sent, our complaint ratio is not even close to 1%. 15 complaints in here? Most resolved to satisfaction. But some people do like to make things sound worse, when in reality, complaints are relative to bookings made.

It seems as though you are picking through your booking trying to find a problem if anything. You booked a cheap deal, got exactly as you asked and are almost hoping something else goes wrong when you haven't even travelled yet.

We wish you a pleasant trip and kindly request you stop spamming your review. You made your point, and had your say. We will request this post is removed if it continues to be spammed with the same booking and the same issue that we have already answered on numerous occasions.

i have had identical experience with these people. I was told at the end there was an £18 charge ,when i asked if it was each person they said yes ,no mention of each way. Did not know till I got the invoice. As a sweetener they said they had upgraded me to a superior room. Checked the hotel website and ALL the rooms are standard. Dont trust them. I had already paid when I was told I would be leaving from adifferent airport at great cost and time to ourselves, especially as It was a 3 day trip. Sorry I ever came in contact with these ppeople. Dont trust them.

“Watch out for the "MASSIVE" Agency bonding fee???”

Written on: 23/10/2013 by tomange (1 review written)

I have just booked a 3 day holiday to Torremolinos with 321 Travel Agency and I feel I have been shafted. All the way through booking with them they mentioned the price would be £149 each, at the end they say mentioned an "agency bonding fee" this amounted to £18 per passenger each way a total of £72. I have never come across this before and the charge of £72 is absolutely ridiculous. I must say in all of this they up to now have been polite. Just read my e mail to and from them and… Read Full Review

I have listened to the call, you were given the cost of the holiday and the charge on top for your bonding fee. I feel your review demonstrates exactly that too, which is a fair review of events. We pay high premiums to protect passengers when they travel. If for any reason the hotel is overbooked, airlines go bust etc, we will fully repatriate you and that is exactly what the bonding fee is for. On the phone call you still have the option to not go ahead with the booking if you wish not to pay the bonding fee, it is entirely your choice if you wish to proceed or not.

Hello Mr Pritchard, by now you should have heard from ATOL as I was fobed off by you and Mr Poole about the issuing of the ATOL certificate. Both you and Mr Poole whilst being polite gave contradictory information about the issuing of it. You said it would be issued a few days aftre booking and Mr Poole when I spoke to him said it would be issued about 4 days before we fly, On both counts you are incorrect as having spoken direct to ATOL they inform me that the certificate should be issued at the time of booking and that is THE LAW. On another issue, Mr Poole when I spoke to him about the recording of my booking said he would get it for me but as of now I have not received it, could you please inform me as to when i can expect it.
I thank you in anticipation

We booked our holiday through 321 travel on Wednesday 16th October to fly to Malaga on Saturday morning, the guy who took my booking assured me I would receive confirmation late that evening or very early the next morning. I called the reservation line at 9am the next day askng for my confirmation email and was told all the coms were down and I would receive it later that morning. Hi,

You indeed called us to book a holiday, to cut a long story short, the seats were no longer available, no money was taken from your card and you were offered alternatives. from time to time this happens with fluid pricing systems.

Having just listened back to the call, you spoke to our operator Stephen who was absolutely apologetic to the situation and offered you the next best options available. We refute fully that Stephen was rude at any point in the telephone call, he was nothing but helpful and sympathetic to the whole situation. He acted professionally throughout and cancelled down your booking when we couldn't find a solution together.

You are basing 'poor service' on the fact the holiday had sold out, something we have no control over, and once more to re-iterate, Stephen was not rude nor impatient at all in the telephone converstation. This comment is spurious and unfounded.

You have since spoken to the administration manager who has tried everything to help you.

“Absolute rip off”

Written on: 07/10/2013

They booked our holiday home to the wrong airport, then realised it has a non direct flight attached. Paid for 22kgs of luggage, turns out it was only 20kgs but because of the extra flight they booked us on that 1 only has 15kgs. Was told we were landing at 9pm it's actually 23.40pm. Rang solid for 3 days to amend or find a solution to be lied to and fobbed off at every given moment. Disgusting customer service. Will say anything to get your money. Our journey home should be 4hrs-40mins will… Read Full Review

321Travelltd's Comment

Written on: 08/10/2013

Without knowing who you are, let me firstly clear up the glaring innacuracies.

If we had indeed booked you a flight home to the wrong airport, a call to our team would result in swift rectification. We book what the client wants, has asked for, or has agreed to. If that is incorrect we will change that over for you at no charge if we have made a mistake. My guess is your first choice of airport wasn't available, so we offered you an alternative you accepted. We would not book you home to the wrong airport and just leave it at that, this statement is simply not true.

If indeed you are on a 'seat save' indirect flight, you would have been read the terms of these flights at booking. To briefly reiterate the key points you would have been read on the booking call...'Please give your full attention to the terms and conditions of this holiday, if you require any clarification, or do not understand, please ask before we end the telephone call....This booking is booked onto our seat saver option and the following terms and conditions apply, please note that times, carrier and routine maybe sunject to change and additionally flights will be indirect, involve a stop, or change of aircraft en-route'.

If you are booking one of our low saver fares you will be read those details before payment is taken. If you would knidly let us know who you are, we can get the call recording and supply this to yourselves and the TTA.

These details are read out to you and if you would like a direct flight you can do, but the direct fares at peak times will be some £200 per person more expensive. You can look at the flight prices yourself to see this and it is easily changed if you want to. What we cannot do is offer you a holiday for £400 with a stop over, then change it to a direct flight free of charge, you will need to pay what the direct flight costs.

We also never sell luggage at 22KG, we sell 15/20 KG, so I'm not sure where this issue has come from.

With regard to your customer service issues, sometimes passengers do not like what they hear, that does not mean we have bad customer service. If you are ringing to complain about an in direct flight and we tell you that is the terms of the holiday you have booked, that is merely reading back the terms of the holiday confirmed. Again, a simple solution is to pay to upgrade to direct flights, the holidays are cheaper at peak times because of the stopover as earlier stated.

Certain words are banned by the review centre, not ourselves. We take false reviews very seriously and any libellous comments are defended legally. The review centre is a platform for such reviews and it is as much their responsibilty as it is yours to post 100% accuracies in your review.

I am now going to get in touch with the TTA to find out what this issue is and am going to supply the call recordings for them. I will them update this review with the accurate events and defend the review legally if need be.

I have had the exact same problem today. The 321 travel co is AWFUL. We were told we were booking for 10am flights, giving us the whole day in Spain on arrival. Only half an hour later, a booking confirmation email told us we'd be arriving in the evening, thus cutting out three day break to two days. Also our flights to Edinburgh which we booked for 11am to Edinburgh were, in fact, to Southhampton then a four hour wait and then a flight to Edinburgh getting in at 7pm. So the whole of my Saturday spent travelling for at least ten hours. An absolute DISGRACE. Please don't book with them.

Ms M*****d,

You are travelling from EDI to AGP 16-19/10. There is one direct outbound flight that leaves at 1505. You can have an in-direct flight at 10 am if you wanted, but the journey time is longer and would get you to AGP at the same time. We can only book you onto flights that operate on the day you wish to travel.

You were read the terms and conditions of the flight, advised to read the rest on our website and you even then agreed to go away and read the terms fully (something we advise) to then confirm the holiday about an hour later.

Your total holiday cost including flights and hotel was £266 per person, you can of course change your inbound flight to a direct flight, this is £288 per person alone, more than the total cost of your holiday. It is completely up to you.

Miss Schofield, utmost apologies for the debacle on your flights. Looking into this, it is nearly a year and a half old and it seemed as though Ryanair had resolved thier mistake. We hadn't refunded you, nor could the TTA help as Ryanair had mispelt your name on the reservation. I have looked into the email threads and the last email it seemed it had all been sorted and Ryanair had refunded you. Please call in and ask for Mr.Poole who will be happy to refund this error imediately and apologies once again that you have had to wait this long. We will also be able to offer you something on your next holiday if you so wish.

Many thanks,

Having listened to all the calls you were quoted on a seat save fare. The terms were read to you 'flights will be indirect, involve a stop, or change of aircraft on route'. At no point on the call were you told you were flying on a direct route, they do not fly one from Aberdeen.

Regards to the bags, no low cost airline includes this free of charge, that is an additional extra.

We forwarded your issue to the TTA and liased with trading standards with our supporting evidence who both ruled we acted appropriately throughout, however we are sorry you feel this way.

If what you are saying is true, that they do not operate a direct route between Aberdeen airport and Ibiza, then why was it possible for me to fly direct from Aberdeen to Ibiza on my outbound journey with no stops? Again, the information you are stating is false and incorrect. First Choice and Thomson holidays also offer a direct flight from Ibiza back to Aberdeen on a Wednesday departing 11:30 arriving at ABZ at 13:50 so it is misleading to say that you can't get a direct flight between Aberdeen and Ibiza. Regarding the baggage issue, it may be common knowledge to you or someone who works in your industry that no low cost airline includes baggage free of charge, but someone like myself who usually travels with a reputable company (not budget/low cost) should be made aware at the time of booking that the price you have quoted DOES NOT include baggage allowance and it is only right and professional that you make your customer aware of this at the time of booking and offer them the option of purchasing baggage allowance. I am amused to hear that you went to trading standards (off your own back) to check that you had dealt with my issue in the correct manner. As far as I was concerned the matter was closed and forgotten about and I have not once mentioned that I was going to take the matter further. The fact that you liaised with trading standards speaks volumes - it seems you were unsure if you really had dealt with my issue correctly and needed reassurance from them. You obviously had concerns that your company MIGHT not have handled my matter correctly because you went and checked with trading standards to cover your own back. I have no desire to discuss this matter further. As far as I am concerned, even if you DID read the terms and conditions to me over the phone and informed me that 'flights will be indirect, involve a stop etc etc....', that is still no excuse for not coming to the phone when I tried calling several times, hanging up on me when I DID eventually get through to you and, well, your appalling lack of customer care in general. I trust this matter is now closed and we shall agree to disagree that your company is anything but a money hungry disgrace to the travel industry. Thank you

On the booking you was indeed told the booking fee of £18 x 4, this is the extra £72. This is a charge you were quoted and we simply do not add that on, it is illegal to do so. With regard to the hour difference in time we are sorry if that hour inconvenienced you in any way but it is out of our control.

You may take a different view, but you did call in to air your views about the hour difference, at this point you became very rude and started shouting at the advisor who was trying to help. You are free to call in any time to go through your issues but our staff can only take so much when they receive abusive phone calls.

In any walk of business there are certain problems and issues that crop up from time to time, we have a team that are here to listen and help, but please also treat them with common courtesy.

We book many thousands of passengers each month and over 99% of them are very happy with the service we provide.

Just like any travel agent there are optional additional extras (bags, transfers, parking, room upgrades, various flight uprgrades etc) and there are extras we as an agent may charge (credit card fee if using one, booking fee if it applies). The price you see advertised as with any agent is for your flights and hotel only. Anything else charged is based on your decisions, debit card, no charge, just hand luggage, no charge etc.
