As of my previous post we have contacted the customer services for this company, I was told on 9th sept that the compensation was being sent out within 28 days and the cheque has still not materialised,I have contacted them again and have been ignored, this has now been ongoing for 8month as the claim against them started in Feb '16. Yesterday (Sept 2016) we searched and found a short break for our wedding anniversary in Oct flying from Bournemouth to Vienna. On the 26/07/2016 I contacted 321 Travel to book a holiday, I spoke to a representative who originally booked a holiday to Rhodes, Greece for 7 nights all inclusive, including flights, all inclusive hotel, transfers and one 20kg baggage allowance for 2 people. We went under these in January 2016, a massive muddle from start to finish, different airports ( 360 travel miles in car ) different hotels got put in a lower star hotel, got kicked out from our original hotel next day at 6am because this company never booked us there, got told to move to a different location 26 miles away, we were celebrating our engagement so we made arrangements to meet our friends at the original hotel, got promised everything got nothing, took our complaint to trading… Read Full Review

May I say how inaccurate your post is.

The fact is that you were awarded a claim because there was no defence made in relation to your allegations. This was because you incorrectly tried to claim against a company that does not exist. As a result the courts cannot send defence papers to a company that does not exist. Like any other person using the British judicial service it is a minimum requirement that you claim against a company that actually exists and that then allows them to defend and counterclaim against you. You will never be able to enforce a judgement against something that does not exist. - thats just the law i'm afraid

Similarly you cannot accuse someone of being guilty of all charges when there has been no hearing or defence issued......

I think that explains and details your absurd post....perhaps you should have the full facts before you accuse

So if you know who this person is and where he lives surely you would advise the name of the company that needs to be trying to defend themselves against the claim, try ringing the partner as you have her number, after many calls and emails, and trading standards being involved, you still it seems are hiding and stating that the company does not exist, so if it does not exist why does paperwork get sent out to people via emails to present to the hotels and holiday transportation companies, and if it does not exist why advertise, please advise who the company is that is responsible for not answering to the claims made against them

Please do not make accusations that you cannot substantiate. No one is hiding - quite the opposite - but we are not at fault if you cannot work out the company that you have an issue with and subsequently pay to take a PO Box to court?!? You will have been sent the full details of the company your receipt and it is obvious with whom you should direct any actions you take. At this point you will need to pay again for the process to restart - but please be aware we will rigorously have any action defended by our solicitors and will subsequently seek full reimbursement of costs.

Alternatively if you wish to call our team to explain your issues perhaps we will able to help and discover why you feel so aggrieved

This is the way they work. I didn't receive the confirmation email 3 days after and they said they couldnt get a direct flight to Greece after all. Offered us Spain in a 2 star hotel with bad reviews. Refused that and was offered more expensive one 2 hours transfer from the airport. We then decided to leave it as they couldnt deliver what we originally wanted and they took £100 out of my bank account. We were not warned of cancellation fees up front.

This is what happens when the busiest period of the year people leave their 'request bookings' (as explained before taking a card) 2-7 days before departure. It is very difficult to source seats for August when you book in August, when the seats have been on sale for over a year. To avoid such issues it would be advised to book peak periods much more in advance than 24 hours to a week in advance. A minimum of 3 months in advance would avoid such issues. The same goes for booking Xmas breaks the week before Xmas, much earlier is needed to avoid availability issues. Also a huge bed bank (Low Cost Beds) going out of business this summer compounds the problem even further with an extra 200,000 rooms needed for people now without.

If you can't provide holidays leaving within a week of booking then you shouldn't be trading!
Your company is an absolute disgrace I had nothing but problems and that was in May. So why are you blaming the month of August when looking through reviews you can't get it right in any month of the year.
I have had 3 people get in touch with me since June who have also had major issues with your company just like I did.

As read on your last minute booking 'your booking is in a request status', due to seats being tight. We book hundreds of thousands of passengers every year without issue and our complaint ratio is less than 1%. We have 4 stars on here, 5 stars on spokesman said, 5 stars on Trust Pilot etc etc. It's easy to focus on the negative especially when 99 out of 100 people who travel without an 'issue' wouldn't even leave a positive review, but when people have any kind of issue that's the very first thing they do. Reviews are an unbiased view of a company especially so in the Travel Trade, you only have to read reviews on here of Thomas Cook, Thomson etc.

Hi I understand you saying no body leaves good reviews I have not went on my holiday yet that I booked with 321 travel I also had my flight changed so ok really not a big deal since my itenery does state direct flight to Barcelona though have not got email yet with return flight details so I'm a wee bit worried after reading these reviews hopefully gets resent to me and I can review a good holiday in the destination I was offered which on my confirmation so far is correct

I recently booked a holiday with this shoddy company. I generally make my own decisions but be advised do not expect anything other than a mediocre service. Extremely rude on the phone, incapable of making a booking without it being littered with errors. when this is pointed out to them they do not accept responsibility. Awful company holiday started off at £145 per person ended up £90 dearer per person didn't send holiday confirmation over for 7 days so we were unable to cancel holiday when we found out what they had actually taken from the credit card they know exactly what there doing as I've seen reviews going back as 2012 stating exactly the same as I am. You booked a holiday less than 48 hours prior to its departure in the middle of a school holiday. When you made your booking you were clearly advised it was on a "request basis and confirmation would take up to 24 hours We contacted you to advise you that there was only one seat left. Unfortunately very last minute bookings like this when they are so cheap are reliant of airlines having availability. Airlines sell their seats 365 days ahead of departure if you wish to guarantee a booking early....but clearly not at these prices. It is unfortunate that we could not help you at this late stage...but of course no money was taken from your payment card and no contract established. We also do advise not to make additional arrangements until you receive confirmation that you are actually going.on holiday and thats its booked

We are sorry you feel this way. Booking a holiday going the next day is going to cause issues with availability given the fact they go on sale a year before.

Unfortunately we do not have the human resource to input over 10 million holiday offers each day. All offers upload automatically and are not input manually as you suggest. The system will scan the cheapest flight with the cheapest hotel that you have selected and searched and bring back the results.

To leave a 1 star review for a holiday having no availability the next day is extremely uncalled for, you haven't made a booking, the holiday is simply no longer available as you have left it until a day before. Holidays do not work like train tickets, they need to be booked more in advance.

Hi, who we dealt with earlier this week

When you chose to book your trip to Egypt you we aware of the separate flight and hotel arrangements that had been made. Obviously the situation in Sharm is outside our control. There is no obligation for ANYONE to refund ANY part of your arrangements - the hotel is still open and flights still operating. However appreciating your sensitivity and not wishing to travel you have been provided with a full refund of your flights, and a full refund of the hotel. Your admin charge is non refundable as we still have to administer your booking.

No reasonable person would suggest that spending hours obtaining the various refunds from the relevant suppliers that they are not obliged to provide you with and ensuring then administering payment to you should be done for no reward - hence why admin charges are non refundable. In turn we will not be able to ask our advertising mediums as ask them to refund the advertising cost of anyone that booked to go to Sharm.

When you choose to make a purchase of any item the contractual obligations are advised at the relevant time - and your ungrounded comments above are simply lies.

We are not profiting from the cancellation of your booking - quite the opposite as we are not receiving our commission from the hotels or airlines. We are still charging our admin charges as we are still expected to administrator your cancellation and ensure the safe refund of your funds.

The poor customer service is preposterous as you appear to have taken umbrage at being asked to be patient at a time when we were prioritising clients in resort and requiring IMMEDIATE assistance. At that time you were politely advised that you still had 15 days left before travel and at that time when the airlines had not decided whether they were continuing flights.

Not entirely sure what "love to spoit T & C" actually means, but if that is a referral that we are working by the terms and condtions that you have agreed to abide by then of course we apologise - but as these terms are industry approved and standard practise.

Finally you were offered many solutions throughout the time when you felt we were not helping you which you chose not to accept - my suggestion is that you should not use the poor situation in Egypt as a political tool to expect services outside to the terms that you agreed to book under

There were no direct seats home, only in-direct flights, something you did not want which is fair enough. In future the busiest most expensive period of the year is better to book much more in advance than a week, that way there are no availability issues and you can avoid any potential disappointment. But to clarify, with any airline, there were no direct seats home hence you were offered what other flights were available.

i am glad that we managed to resolve this for you, i understand the stress you were under especially as the circumstances of your trip were not all pleasure. I am glad our reservation team managed to talk you through the alternate flight and our free upgrade to All Inclusive saved you some money whilst you were away. It would seem reasonable to presume you were happy with the manner with which we resolved the isssues by the nature of your final response and we take no offence at your initial outburst....these thing happen!

Just to update my review. Weve just got a call from 321. The holiday weve booked isnt available. Its taken them 2 days to tell us this. Apparently theyve FOUND us another holiday still going tomorrow but instead of Paphos, were supposed to be going to Turkey!!! Were supposed to be getting an email anytime soon to confirm this. This company are incompetent at the best. The staff just laugh and sound VERY insincere when you talk to them. A very DONT CARE attitude.

We are sorry you feel you had a bad experience. From time to time when booking last minute deals a couple of days before a bank holiday this occurs. Flight prices go through the roof and airlines overbook their flights. We will always try our best to get you away within budget and did on this occasion. We always ask for patience on last minute peak holidays and the very reason people come to us is because we can secure the last minute holidays cheaper than you can source the flight costs at.

You are correct, we do, many companies will not touch last minute peak holidays due to the amount of availability issues and resulting complaints. We give people a chance to get affordable peak holidays last minute but of course issues arise as the supply out ways the demand. With flights as much as £700 per person to normal holiday destinations we are able to offer families a cheap holiday if they've left if very late, but patience is needed while our team try to find something within the budget. Many companies will not even entertain a 'get me anywhere last minute' quote.

Have just booked what looked like a lovely holiday to Benalmedena for 4 adults and 1 child (albeit there are only 2 adults, 2 teens and 1 child). Total price comes up on screen and a reference number. Each time you google it a different price comes up but hey ho it wasn't a million miles off. First problem our return airport in Managua (which is in Nicuagra) instead of Malaga. As a result of this review, we have been moved to a different hotel (we're told there have been a few problems with the hotel originally booked) all names on the booking have now been amended, a partial refund of the agency bonding fee has been made and a voucher issued towards the cost of our next holiday.
The manager who called was very helpful, even returning a call on his day off, and the refund was received by post within 24 hours.
Moral of this story...be sure to know the right questions to ask when making a booking (this was my first time of booking this kind of holiday). Check all fees are included in the TOTAL PRICE!!!
Overall, sales and management very helpful, admin poor. A whole lot of hassle but some confidence restored. We will see what the holiday brings.

I agree Cjd1959. Glad you had success with the management of 321travel. If 321travel made a few adjustments to their website and included the agency bonding fee on the front page in their total price they would have far less people ringing them up complaining as the customer could just click the button and finish the process without having to ring them at all. From all the review's I've read this charge seems to be a lot of the issues with 321travel. Also the only other problem with the website was that it didn't clarify that our booking was for 2 rooms. Other than that it would have been less stressful for us and also for them. It's making it very difficult for the management with the customer service when a few small adjustments would make it plainer to all involved.

The peak period Bank Holidays always increase the call volume 100% as everyone is desperate to get away and the demand far out ways the supply. Admin lines can get very busy at these times of year but every issue will be sorted as soon as we can. I am writing to give you an update on the above.

I AM GLAD TO CONFIRM THAT THE MANAGER OF 321 TRAVEL GOT IN TOUCH WITH ME AND APOLOGISED FOR THE WAY IN WHICH MY COMPLAINT WAS HANDLED. HE TOOK FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR REMEDY AND PROMISED TO CHANGE PROCEDURES SO THAT CUSTOMERS WILL BE CLEAR AS TO THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF MONEY TO BE TAKEN OUT OF THIER CREDIT/DEBIT CARD IN FUTURE.

Furthermore, I got £50 refund and a £150 worth voucher for my next booking with 321 travel. I am overall very satisfied with the outcome of my complaint and very thankful to 321 Travel management for swiftly and satisfactorily dealing with this issue and more importantly for taking into account my feedback and that of other customers to improve the quality of their service.

I WILL DEFINETILY BE USING 321 TRAVEL FOR HOLIDAY BOOKING IN FUTURE

I was experienced almost the same,I phoned this company to book holyday in spain,the deal was cheap so I was happy to that deal,the man one Martin,said you should email the person who travel with you name and age etc,he given his email id,and he ask me the payment detail,and the payment detail given,next moment before sent email my detail,I have just checked this travels review,its so bad and horrible,so I call back and say please I don't want book,I change my mind not to travel now,then he said need £200 for cancellation fee.I wonder,because I didn't yet book with them and no details with them,even he have no proof where my address ,name ,nothing,I ask how can you to be take cancellation fee,if I booked the holyday,then cancel its fine but no booking been done.I check now my credit card statement,there is £200 deducted,now my bank dealing this case,I will go further to get back my money.

You booked a holiday and called back to cancel, as per our terms and conditions cancellation fees apply. I'm sorry if you feel this is unfair but this would be how every single Airline/Travel agent would work.

Please contact Trading Standards with regards to this practise which is misleading. I have encouraged many individuals to do the same which is useful to aid Trading Standards in there investigation. I also recommend contacting Discount Center where they advertise this, they will be more than helpful as they have received a number of complaints.

Please do not use this company, they promise so much, they do not give you the whole picture about your holiday, the additional charges it all ends up costing you much more than you planned. If you want to only focus on the negative reviews as some people do, then yes. We send away many thousands of passengers each month without any problem and complaints are all relative to the passengers who travel. Any issue can take upto 28 days to reach a resolution after your complaint is registered and if you would like further help the TTA our trade regulator will be happy to help.

I just had a check at the Tesco reviews on here, 2 stars? Because mostly customers with any kind of problem will post online before a resolution is reached, I wouldn't call Tesco a bad company though.

They've took £200 out my account with out me nosing and won't refund it back. I'm going to trading standards about there conduct . I suggest you do the same. Don't let these people get away with it.

If, as you claim (and I don't believe you) they took £ 200 from your account without you NOTICING IT (you cant spell, you wrote 'nosing'), then simply contact your bank or credit card company and ask for a charge back.
