“avoid at all costs”

This company is an absolute joke . Book a weekend away and this is now the 4 th holiday we are in.as funnily enough the first holiday we booked you took the money right awaysaid confirmation would be sent and nothing .wethen rang back up to be told there wasnt enough seats on flight!! We said well just cancel to be told wed lose our money or need to pay £180 extra to go somewere else.funnily enough these phone calks are never what you acually hear on the phone . To clarify, no money was taken as the holiday could not be confirmed, you were called back to be offered an alternative and again I will state, no money left your card at this point. You must have accpeted an alternative holiday offered and we are sorry the intial holiday wasn't available for whatever reason that may have been.

I'm sorry but I don't quite understand the full extent of your review, but on a side note, 321 Travel cannot be held responsible for people getting ill in resort. Passengers getting ill abroad is completely out of 321 Travels control.

“run while you can”

booked last min holiday with this firm ...found nice hotel good flights from Gatwick..after we had paid them they phoned to say there wasn't enough seats on the plane...they suggested we went from Stansted ..little out of our way but we said yes ..then we phoned again to change the day ...we wanted to cancel but they said it would take up to three days to return our money...funny how they can take it out in mins....we wanted our holiday so accepted .....BIG MISTAKE...we ended up going from… Read Full Review

They probably paid a lot more for the direct flight! The only reason you would be going in direct was because it would be cheaper and no doubt you didnt want to pay anymore.

This holiday you booked a seat save fare that ended up some £200 per person cheaper for a holiday to Crete. The seat save terms briefly, that would have been read 'this flight will be in-direct, involve a stop, or change of aircraft en route'.

Of course there are direct flights, but you didn't want to pay the extra for that fare. If the direct flights were cheaper we would have booked you onto those ones, but they were very very expensive.

Bank refunds are out of our control, we put the refund through as you ask, but it can take upto 3 days to show in your account. You were offered 100% of your money back though and in the end declined.

The reason people search on sites like Icelolly is because they want a budget price. The same holiday with us will cost you £500 where as with Thomas cook it would be more than likely double that with the huge overheads they have. You are of course at liberty to book with whoever you like. If it was within your budget to book the direct flight at the higher cost we would have done that straight off.

Firstly apologies for customer service issues. We have re structured that side of the business to meet customer requirements.

I do not know the full nature of this issue, but safe to say before confirming, you would be fully aware of where you are flying from and to, so any milleage issues are not something we take responsibilty for after the booking is made.

We know how to speak to people with common courtesy.

May I ask, are you saying you booked a holiday and didn't know where you were flying from and to? Every booking all details are read back to the customer, if not, how would they know where they are going?

Yes we run a very successful company thank you with very experienced travel staff and I'm glad you had a wonderful trip.

Just to add, we have been running for almost 2 years now with some 25 bad reviews online, take into account at least half of those reach a resolution or a simply false and the fact we book some 2-3000 seats each month, that represents a complaint ratio of less than 0.01%. Any business will tell you that is a fantastic complaint ratio.

Your review is a complete fabrication of the truth.

Agreed, in my opinion they are the worst. Their responses show their low level of customer care and they have been around for more than a few years, was it 'holiday hero' that went bust and left loads of holiday makers stranded, well guess what? It's looks like the same lot at 321 travel, same director names, location and even the same telephone number. Just avoid this company, you will be better safe than sorry.

“agency bonding fee”

Booked with 321 travel, next day phoned to say the flights were for wrong airport, so I paid extra for the airport I wanted. There was £18 pound agency bonding fee per person as the man said when I finished booking. The fee is there to protect you financially. Anybody who has been affected by strikes, ash clouds etc would tell you how thankful they are they had this added financial protection. You will either be repatriated or fully refunded in the event any such issues might arise.

Rung these guys to check on a holiday that had been advertised for the past 3 days at the same price. Upon speaking to the guy at 321 was told that there were no flights left unless i wanted to pay an extra £90pp for the privilege..and go from Stanstead - i didnt. Also another 'tip', if you are going to book with any travel agent in the country on any price comparison site in the country, bear in mind it isn't a live system and it is also a fluid pricing system. All uploads go through a couple of times a day. To leave a 1 star comment because the holiday sold out is absolutely pathetic and I'm happy to have this comment stay on the board to demonstrate this.

It's like going into tescos and complaining that the Heinz beans have sold out that day. If the seats on the flight are now full, they are full.

We are sorry for your experience. In peak holiday periods flights do sell or go up in price quickly. It is a fluid system and on occasion completely out of our control if we cannot confirm anything. No money had been taken and if we could source you flights within your budget we would have done so.

Booked with 321 holidays to Lanzarote in November. We believed we were flying from Newcastle but NO. Left home at 4a.m. in morning to go to Airport. Flight with Monarch to Gatwick. Were in the airport 4 hours, 2 hour delay. Flight flew to Tenerife instead as they said it was windy. Taken to hotel overnight having been kept on the plane an extra hour. Sorry for your troubles, 321 Travel have no control over planes arriving in other airports for safety reasons.

You were on an in-direct flight as you well know as it saved you hundreds of pounds on your holiday, as per the terms of flights that were read to you.

Your card was used so you had total control over your booking.

“got me what nobody else could”

My friends had booked to go to benidorm for the school holidays to the los dalmatas I was trying to add in but the company they had booked with couldnt give me a price that i could afford. I had called these people through Holiday discount centre and they got me in on a fraction of the cost I was being quoted elswhere?
