Just like any travel agent there are optional additional extras (bags,transfers,parking,room upgrades, various flight uprgrades etc) and there are extras we as an agent may charge (credit card fee if using one, booking fee if it applies). The price you see advertised as with any agent is for your flights and hotel only. Anything else charged is based on your decisions, debit card, no charge, just hand luggage, no charge etc.

This libellous comment 'RIPOFF' is simply false and we take such postings extremely seriously.

We are sorry for any customer service issues you feel you had.

I have an identical experience to this and looking at the comment that 'ripoff' is a libellous term. Well that is exactly how I feel after dealing with your travel firm. I feel ripped off and anyone who values their peace of mind and the effort it takes to save your hard earned money should not pick the phone up to 321 Travel. Avoid this company, avoid avoid avoid.

Used 321 Travel to book flights for 16 people to Lanzarote for christmas. The names were not correct on the tickets so we contacted them several times to get them changed, but they didnt want to do it. they just kept saying that it would be ok. ( the womens tickets had MR on them and the surnames were spelt incorrect as well. “Stay clear from these liars!”

Booked a cruise with 321 travel...never again. Asked for an additional £300 at time of paying balance..said flights weren't included in advertised price. Used my bank card details to pay for flights without seeking my permission..they had my details whenever I paid the deposit 3 days prior to this. Having looked into this issue I would agree you had many administration issues with the booking that were addressed and we full take responsibilty for, however with regard to charging you an extra £300 this is simply not true. To do so would be illegal and we would'nt have had our licences renewed if this were the case.

Your card was used to give you full access to your booking online and is advised in our terms. All bank details are secure.

I made the booking and of course the payment and was told that I would receive an e mail of the booking that day. It did not arrive and I called them the following morning. I was told that there was a 'problem ' there was only 1 seat available on the flight. They then told me he could get flights from airport just up the road which turned out to be 30 miles away and meant my son would have to drive havng only a few hours sleep before doing a 12 hour shift. I got the exact same excuses and reasons they must be reading from a book! the 1 seat left dilemma and T&C's read out that doesn't actually explain anything!

i now also flying from Portugal to Brussels to Manchester when it was originally confirmed i would be flying there and back from Portugal via Birmingham till there was only one seat left on our flight! outrageous company... no twitter either which shows they cant handle the abuse they get!

321 Travel are not here to get 'abuse' from these type of customers. We also do have a Twitter account and have done for nearly 2 years.

Again, you were called to be offered an alternative when no money had left your card, you are of course at liberty to decline the offer and book elsewhere. What we cannot do is have an offer accepted and booked, then cancel it for free after we have confirmed that booking.

If the holiday you tried to confirm is not available for whatever reason, there is absolutely no problem in you declinging to proceed with any other holiday with us. From time to time this can happen, normally at peak periods and sometimes customers prefer to 'go back to the drawing board' and have another look online. No problem.

Looks like their terms and conditions are meant to snare customers and help them keep money. That is the lowest ebb of customer service and rather than reading the small print I would advise everyone to just steer clear of 321 travel. Avoid avoid avoid

Let me just clear up the procedure.

You made a booking request, at this point NO payment was taken. To say you made a booking and paid is not true, at this point we are trying to confirm your holiday and would never take money until we have a secure booking. In this instance we could not secure the seats and you would have been called back to offer any alternatives available, but again, NO money would have left your bank account.

Your son was indeed called and offered an alternative which he accepted, we then booked this holiday and took the money. Later on you called to cancel it, but at this point it had already been confirmed and full cancellation fees apply.

Just to clear it up, a booking request was made, we tried to get that confimred, no money was taken. We could not confirm the holiday and called back to offer alternatives available within the budget. The passenger then accepted one of those alternatives, we booked it and took the payment. Later on you tried to cancel the holiday, cancellation fees apply.

This is merely just to clear up the innacuracies in your story above.

Promises made, and always broken. Don't use unless you record phone calls or get everything confirmed in writing. We had a holiday taken to give father 86 repite from looking after mum who has dementia. Because of 321 travel Dad did not get the rest he throughly deserved and needed, and they will not reply to our requests for compensation and return of overpayment for a room that we didn't get. To clarify, no money was taken as the holiday could not be confirmed, you were called back to be offered an alternative and again I will state, no money left your card at this point. You must have accpeted an alternative holiday offered and we are sorry the intial holiday wasn't available for whatever reason that may have been.

I'm sorry but I don't quite understand the full extent of your review, but on a side note, 321 Travel cannot be held responsible for people getting ill in resort. Passengers getting ill abroad is completely out of 321 Travels control.

This holiday you booked a seat save fare that ended up some £200 per person cheaper for a holiday to Crete. The seat save terms briefly, that would have been read 'this flight will be in-direct, involve a stop, or change of aircraft en route'.

Of course there are direct flights, but you didn't want to pay the extra for that fare. If the direct flights were cheaper we would have booked you onto those ones, but they were very very expensive.

Bank refunds are out of our control, we put the refund through as you ask, but it can take upto 3 days to show in your account. You were offered 100% of your money back though and in the end declined.

The reason people search on sites like Icelolly is because they want a budget price. The same holiday with us will cost you £500 where as with Thomas cook it would be more than likely double that with the huge overheads they have. You are of course at liberty to book with whoever you like. If it was within your budget to book the direct flight at the higher cost we would have done that straight off.

We know how to speak to people with common courtesy.

May I ask, are you saying you booked a holiday and didn't know where you were flying from and to? Every booking all details are read back to the customer, if not, how would they know where they are going?

Yes we run a very successful company thank you with very experienced travel staff and I'm glad you had a wonderful trip.

Just to add, we have been running for almost 2 years now with some 25 bad reviews online, take into account at least half of those reach a resolution or a simply false and the fact we book some 2-3000 seats each month, that represents a complaint ratio of less than 0.01%. Any business will tell you that is a fantastic complaint ratio.

Your review is a complete fabrication of the truth.

Agreed, in my opinion they are the worst. Their responses show their low level of customer care and they have been around for more than a few years, was it 'holiday hero' that went bust and left loads of holiday makers stranded, well guess what? It's looks like the same lot at 321 travel, same director names, location and even the same telephone number. Just avoid this company, you will be better safe than sorry.

Booked with 321 travel, next day phoned to say the flights were for wrong airport, so I paid extra for the airport I wanted. There was £18 pound agency bonding fee per person as the man said when I finished booking. The fee is there to protect you financially. Anybody who has been affected by strikes, ash clouds etc would tell you how thankful they are they had this added financial protection. You will either be repatriated or fully refunded in the event any such issues might arise.

Rung these guys to check on a holiday that had been advertised for the past 3 days at the same price. Upon speaking to the guy at 321 was told that there were no flights left unless i wanted to pay an extra £90pp for the privilege..and go from Stanstead - i didnt. Also another 'tip', if you are going to book with any travel agent in the country on any price comparison site in the country, bear in mind it isn't a live system and it is also a fluid pricing system. All uploads go through a couple of times a day. To leave a 1 star comment because the holiday sold out is absolutely pathetic and I'm happy to have this comment stay on the board to demonstrate this.

It's like going into tescos and complaining that the Heinz beans have sold out that day. If the seats on the flight are now full, they are full.
