I booked a holiday with this company last week, after forking out nearly £900 over the phone on my debit card, I discovered that what I was MEANT to be getting for my money was completely different on paper and I only realised this once I received my confirmation email. I am and last time I looked the NHS the "company" I work for doesn't care who I book my holiday with. You are an unpleasant company and I'm gutted to have been so ripped off and had to deal with such aggressive behaviour. but please you carry on making comments as its all going as evidence.

Having listened to all the calls you were quoted on a seat save fare. The terms were read to you 'flights will be indirect, involve a stop, or change of aircraft on route'. At no point on the call were you told you were flying on a direct route, they do not fly one from Aberdeen.

Regards to the bags, no low cost airline includes this free of charge, that is an additional extra.

We forwarded your issue to the TTA and liased with trading standards with our supporting evidence who both ruled we acted appropriately throughout, however we are sorry you feel this way.

If what you are saying is true, that they do not operate a direct route between Aberdeen airport and Ibiza, then why was it possible for me to fly direct from Aberdeen to Ibiza on my outbound journey with no stops? Again, the information you are stating is false and incorrect. First Choice and Thomson holidays also offer a direct flight from Ibiza back to Aberdeen on a Wednesday departing 11:30 arriving at ABZ at 13:50 so it is misleading to say that you can't get a direct flight between Aberdeen and Ibiza. Regarding the baggage issue, it may be common knowledge to you or someone who works in your industry that no low cost airline includes baggage free of charge, but someone like myself who usually travels with a reputable company (not budget/low cost) should be made aware at the time of booking that the price you have quoted DOES NOT include baggage allowance and it is only right and professional that you make your customer aware of this at the time of booking and offer them the option of purchasing baggage allowance. I am amused to hear that you went to trading standards (off your own back) to check that you had dealt with my issue in the correct manner. As far as I was concerned the matter was closed and forgotten about and I have not once mentioned that I was going to take the matter further. The fact that you liaised with trading standards speaks volumes - it seems you were unsure if you really had dealt with my issue correctly and needed reassurance from them. You obviously had concerns that your company MIGHT not have handled my matter correctly because you went and checked with trading standards to cover your own back. I have no desire to discuss this matter further. As far as I am concerned, even if you DID read the terms and conditions to me over the phone and informed me that 'flights will be indirect, involve a stop etc etc....', that is still no excuse for not coming to the phone when I tried calling several times, hanging up on me when I DID eventually get through to you and, well, your appalling lack of customer care in general. I trust this matter is now closed and we shall agree to disagree that your company is anything but a money hungry disgrace to the travel industry. Thank you

“Missold Holiday, add on charges and poor customer service!”

On the booking you was indeed told the booking fee of £18 x 4, this is the extra £72. This is a charge you were quoted and we simply do not add that on, it is illegal to do so. With regard to the hour difference in time we are sorry if that hour inconvenienced you in any way but it is out of our control.

You may take a different view, but you did call in to air your views about the hour difference, at this point you became very rude and started shouting at the advisor who was trying to help. You are free to call in any time to go through your issues but our staff can only take so much when they receive abusive phone calls.

In any walk of business there are certain problems and issues that crop up from time to time, we have a team that are here to listen and help, but please also treat them with common courtesy.

We book many thousands of passengers each month and over 99% of them are very happy with the service we provide.

Agreed, my experience of their service level and attitude is almost identical to yours. This company is probably the worst I have ever come across ever. Avoid them people, spend your money elsewhere.

Just like any travel agent there are optional additional extras (bags,transfers,parking,room upgrades, various flight uprgrades etc) and there are extras we as an agent may charge (credit card fee if using one, booking fee if it applies). The price you see advertised as with any agent is for your flights and hotel only. Anything else charged is based on your decisions, debit card, no charge, just hand luggage, no charge etc.

This libellous comment 'RIPOFF' is simply false and we take such postings extremely seriously.

We are sorry for any customer service issues you feel you had.

I have an identical experience to this and looking at the comment that 'ripoff' is a libellous term. Well that is exactly how I feel after dealing with your travel firm. I feel ripped off and anyone who values their peace of mind and the effort it takes to save your hard earned money should not pick the phone up to 321 Travel. Avoid this company, avoid avoid avoid.

Used 321 Travel to book flights for 16 people to Lanzarote for christmas. Booked a cruise with 321 travel...never again. Asked for an additional £300 at time of paying balance..said flights weren't included in advertised price. Used my bank card details to pay for flights without seeking my permission..they had my details whenever I paid the deposit 3 days prior to this. Having looked into this issue I would agree you had many administration issues with the booking that were addressed and we full take responsibilty for, however with regard to charging you an extra £300 this is simply not true. To do so would be illegal and we would'nt have had our licences renewed if this were the case.

Your card was used to give you full access to your booking online and is advised in our terms. All bank details are secure.

I got the exact same excuses and reasons they must be reading from a book! the 1 seat left dilemma and T&C's read out that doesn't actually explain anything!

i now also flying from Portugal to Brussels to Manchester when it was originally confirmed i would be flying there and back from Portugal via Birmingham till there was only one seat left on our flight! outrageous company... no twitter either which shows they cant handle the abuse they get!

321 Travel are not here to get 'abuse' from these type of customers. We also do have a Twitter account and have done for nearly 2 years.

Again, you were called to be offered an alternative when no money had left your card, you are of course at liberty to decline the offer and book elsewhere. What we cannot do is have an offer accepted and booked, then cancel it for free after we have confirmed that booking.

If the holiday you tried to confirm is not available for whatever reason, there is absolutely no problem in you declinging to proceed with any other holiday with us. From time to time this can happen, normally at peak periods and sometimes customers prefer to 'go back to the drawing board' and have another look online. No problem.

Let me just clear up the procedure.

You made a booking request, at this point NO payment was taken. To say you made a booking and paid is not true, at this point we are trying to confirm your holiday and would never take money until we have a secure booking. In this instance we could not secure the seats and you would have been called back to offer any alternatives available, but again, NO money would have left your bank account.

Your son was indeed called and offered an alternative which he accepted, we then booked this holiday and took the money. Later on you called to cancel it, but at this point it had already been confirmed and full cancellation fees apply.

Just to clear it up, a booking request was made, we tried to get that confimred, no money was taken. We could not confirm the holiday and called back to offer alternatives available within the budget. The passenger then accepted one of those alternatives, we booked it and took the payment. Later on you tried to cancel the holiday, cancellation fees apply.

This is merely just to clear up the innacuracies in your story above.
