“An unusually fine station master”

Written on: 04/02/2012 by Alanvee (23 reviews written)

Sole Street Station is a small rail stop between Rochester and Meopham on the Kent line to Dover and Ramsgate. The station is kept really well by the station master, Peter, who always greets with a cheery good morning. Using the station for a year I always was impressed. Alas, I use another South Eastern rail station now and the difference is marked.

December 2012 update:
I hear the station master at Sole Street has just retired; I wish him the very best.
