I booked train tickets for 2 different dates, and checked my selection before paying, however the email and subsequent tickets reflected the wrong dates that fell within a different week. As I am a compulsive checker, this was particularly frustrating because I checked repeatedly, and was costly. The refund process is not as straightforward as it could be. I guess there is little motivation to make it user-friendly and effective.
When I tried rebooking (was redirected to the website from national rail), my payment couldn't go through because of supposed fraud, though it gave no details. Panicked, I check with my credit card company and they said there was no suspicious activity nor attempts to use the card at that time. I tried twice more before I gave up.
So the 2 separate instances of using the website has been costly in terms of time and money. I suggested using others that have a better track record.
