Like many I rely on this awful company's service to get to work. I regularly travel from Watford Junction to Northampton on the 6.53am Euston to Birmingham New Street service. It takes me 25 minutes to walk to the station so I leave around 6.20 so I leave myself time to relax.
Today, like many other mornings, I arrived to find the service delayed by 12 minutes. No explanation, no apologies and, funnily enough, no refund due. Why? As London Midland offer a 30 minute plus delay factor for compensation to be paid!
But, as this service is delayed 2-3 times per week regularly, I and many other hard working passengers get shafted. As I travel this route at this time regularly 48 weeks of the year this service would have been late 144 times in one year. Is that good enough? No! Will London Midland do anything? No!
