“No flexibility for forgotten ID”

I left home in a hurry and forgot my wallet, which caused major problems throughout the day, compounded by the fact that because it contained my credit card ID and I was travelling on an e-ticket I was made to buy a completely new ticket on my cross country journey. I don't understand the reason for this rule and would have hoped for a more understanding response - won't use e-ticket again as it seems those who use them are discriminated against

Users of E-tickets are NOT discrininated against, only those who are unable to comply with the conditions thereof.
