we had one quote come through the plumber from rated people was a nightmare a complete liar and noisy rude untidy and argumentive 2 weeks to tile and replumb a small ensuite . we have been left with leaking sink cold water coming from hot tap {vice versa} Heated towel rail so badly plumbed it will have to be redone shower door fitted at an angle thermostat not fitted properly in shower so water is freezing or scalding toilet plumbing twisted so water in cistern fills slowly . cupboard... “Idyllic flooring”

I found idyllic flooring on this site and were quick to email me. I arranged for a quote and was visited my Joel who was very nice and polite. I had my flooring fitted in my flat yesterday which they did in just one day bearing in mind it was a full fit in a large flat. The flooring looks fantastic and is high quality. I would recommend using Joel and the team as you get what you pay for and no hassle. (read more)

“Not really rated - not user friendly and complicated”

You are registering for a site that sends far too many intrusive follow up emails about the service. The tradesmen pay to be included and its no different to paying for an advert in any website or newspaper. When registering for a job you have to state your upper budget and when you have no idea how much a job is likely to cost, its difficult. Also the man who came to us wouldn't give us a price but said he would undercut any other quotes we got - this isn't the way a proper tradesman would... (read more)

Where to begin! They have a rating system that they said themselves that they cannot fix while it's not doing it's job. The job specs do not include if the budget price is with or without materials. Also they send invoices for small amounts that they already charged u for hoping that you'll double pay. If you have a complaint about a lead that you paid for in full, the customer service people that call u back are not only very rude, but also don't care about your side. They'll say they'll... Nice idea, but it just doesn't work. The main problem for me is the site asking for the budget. When I get other quotes for work, I've never been asked for the budget, it's ridiculous to ask. So on this site you state your budget and then miraculously, the jobs come in pretty close to that budget. I can almost see why this feature is there, to deter time wasters maybe, but its something that shouldn't really bhe asked for. It's also very difficult to actually get at the ratings for people,...
