We had the Mark Group come out to our house the end of July to quote us for external wall insulation, we were given the beginning of September as a start date, a few days before this they called to say there had been a mix up in the paperwork and it would have to go back to the beginning of October, after weeks of phoning them and being fobbed off we still have no idea when they are coming, no one called us to tell us they couldn't meet the beginning of October, we have now had a few other companies out to quote us and have now been told we need planning permission to get the work done, Mark Group never mentioned this to us and we now have got to wait another 8 weeks for that to go through, we are now at risk of losing the £6k government voucher we have because of this unprofessional terrible company, I never leave reviews but feel the need to warn everyone off this company, they need reporting to watchdog and shutting down!!!!

Don't trust anything you are told - do you own research very carefully in deed.

I am also in exactly the same situation. Even on the day of installation at the start of october they said they were coming and didn't show up. Their customer advisors repeatably lie rather than say 'i don't know'. I 'm always promised a high priority call back but it never happens. My voucher also runs out in february. They said if it does go past the expiry date, then mark group will lie on the voucher and still submit it. Ie submit a fraudulent claim to the government! I was told this by the manager!

Snap! We had a surveyor come out to around the 26th or 27th August, he worked the price out there and then and we accepted his quote, we even agreed to take advantage of their 0% finance deal. there was no comunication from them what so ever, it was always me chasing them. I finally got a start date from them, the 1st December. I phoned them 2 weeks before they were due to start to make sure it was still going ahead, thay told me it was but it didn't. When I phoned they told me they would phone me back but never did, this went on for 5 days then I put a posting on their facebook page, along with a lot of other unhappy people. Within an an hour or so the had phoned me and that is how it carried on for another 4working days when they told me they could no longer the work for the quoted price and they now wamted another £2,554:00 to do the same work. I won't go into what happened next only to say Iam expecting a chap round tomorrow from another company.
What I can't understand is how they can get away with treating people like rubbish and how they are still on the Green Deal scheme, I just don't know who they are answerable to. I too am at risk of loosing £6,000 as my voucher expires in February. Maybe they should be reported to Watchdog or some such body, as for me I am hoping to report them to Trading Standards and to their registration company.

I am in exactly the same position. I've spoken to 4 members of staff who have promised to call back but never have......3 of these have been managers. This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with.
