Decided to buy a range cooker for my new property instead of an old freestanding cooker. Gas Cooker Installers done the installation for me, the price was the best part about it all the other companies wanted quite a bit more so that was a plus. I bought a brand new hob and I got an engineer to come out for me, what I didn't realise is that the cut out on my counter was not big enough for the hob itself to fit it. I had to re-book and get someone to do the extra cut out needed to enable it to fit properly. They were very understanding and professional about the situation, especially the engineer and they got someone out to me a few days later to do the installation. Having my boiler serviced was the best decision I have made on my property so far, I was told the corrosion was so bad on some of the pipes inside that a power flush would chew at it and destroy it from inside out and cause serious and expensive damage. The engineer arrived and refused to remove the old hob and install the new hob, as he claimed the existing extractor was not suitable and the doors leading to the kitchen would need to be cut at the bottom to alow further air flow. So he left having done nothing and still charged us for the installation, when it should have been an assessment Fee. Not at all impressed with the service. (read more)

I bought a new gas hob that needed to be installed. Gas cooker installers did my oven installation for me last time so I gave them a call, they booked me in, in the earliest slot possible which was a Monday. The engineer came and installed my gas hob, he was polite in talking to me and when he left he took all the rubbish with him and put them in the communal bin. The engineer was efficient, friendly and did a good job of installing the gas connection to a dual fuel cooker. The installer was subcontracted by the company and gas cooker installers charged my for a gas hose that was never used- despite several emails the company have still not refunded this amount 4 months later!
