“Worse company ever”

We have waited two hours to be told the Plummer in our area is not answering his phone so they can't help us. They won't send an electrician either so we have no electrics or water. Terrible. Don't ever use, rip you off big time. Charged me £72 to fix my toilet, which did not get fixed as he couldn't get to the part that needed fixing so suggested New cisten or new toilet !!. “Utter Incompetence - DO NOT HIRE ABLE GROUP”

My tenants reported a leak in the sitting room ceiling so I called Able Group to identify and address the leak. Able Group sent a 'plumber' round to address a leak in the bathroom. They charged £72 for 30 minute visit but were actually on site for just 10 minutes. In that time the 'plumber' applied silicon to the corner of the bath and tightened the bath waste - to access the bath waste he damaged the bath panel. £260 to fix my toilet and plumber spent at least half an hour either in this van or or the phone to the office. They were late and the only reason I paid is that I had a flight to catch. Two minutes in my house for a partial blocked loo, said the loo, which has been in place for 50 years, needed to be raised by 6 inches. told my son he would be back to do the job and took £90 from him for "Diagnosis". Able's so called customer services were at best unhelpfull and on occasion rude, when it was possible to speak to them at all. I rung up Able Plumbing because i had water leaking through the ceiling from the bathroom. The plumber arrived, did not have a clue what he was doing! ripped up the lino in my bathroom, took up the floorboards and banged about with his hammer a lot. “Terrible Service and no reply to our review on another...”

Appalling customer service and Overcharged for a little job that took 15 mins We called Able group when we discovered the leak and were please that they could get someone out asap.I was told that the cost would be 150 pound plus parts. “Unprofessional Poor Service”

I booked Able-Group on a Friday for a Monday appointment... Got a call from them (after 8pm) on Sunday asking to move it to Tuesday. Then I got another call, late on Monday evening, again wanting to reschedule only I had to stay firm. Finally, I got a call on the day of the appointment saying they could do the survey, but we wouldn't get the report for nearly a month. When I spoke to a manager, he didn't even give me his name. If I could I would give this shoddy outfit no stars but I have to give at least one in order to continue with this review. First off, they are not local. This guy came from miles away (Southend possibly). He even used google to find a plumbers centre here in Diss. Anyone from Diss knows we have several retail outlets for plumbing supplies. My elderly mum rang this company to come and look at her electric shower that was not working. Plumber came and said it was fluff in the hose and cleared it. Charged £64.80. In early May my shower developed a fault. I called Able plumbers. A plumber came, looked at it and said they'd be in touch with a quote to repair it. A couple of days later a lady phoned me with the quote which I accepted and she said the plumber would be here the following Monday. I had a faulty pipe with water pouring through the ceiling & unable to locate the stopcock, I called The Able Group, for an emergency plumber & to be fair they were initially helpful & stated they would be here within 30 minutes. Phoned for blocked toilet on a Sat morning. Was told would be with me 9.30 to 11.30. So stayed in, missing halfa day with the kids but worry it to sort it out. We needed a couple of small window panes replaced. Two home visits, several phone calls, three text messages and a week later the work was still not done. Various excuses and procrastination. The third agreed visit (when it was finally going to be carried out) was unilaterally abandoned with no warning or message at all. I needed a window handle replacing. The Able Group sent out a really horrible, rude, tardy guy that had no idea what he was doing. I told him to leave and he would not leave my house. I was horrified. He then left me his personal business card, which I didn't want. Another guy came out and replaced the handle.
