“Great if you like queuing!”

Disappointed that having paid extortionate entry fees only to find that at every ride we were met with huge queues which the rich (and the stupid) could jump by purchasing at great expense a q-bot ticket (legoland this is wrong...money should not buy you privilege- this is 2014!). Try explaining to your children who have queued for an hour for a 2 minute ride that people are allowed to push in (queue jump) because they have paid extra. Luckily we had the sense to take a packed lunch- the "food" offerings were massively overpriced and of a quality reminiscent of a Korean street market.
Taking disappointed children from queue to queue we were met with many stalls with hustlers trying to pry yet more money from your wallet with expensive hard to win games of darts and basketball to win a dirty soft toy that had been left outside for many weeks.
Then there is the parking....yes legoland has the front to charge you to park and wait in a queue for an hour to leave the park whilst a child in a hi-vis vest randomly cones off lanes to slow the traffic flow.
Managed to get on 4 rides over the 2 days there, heard so many complaints about q-botters (sic) and queuing generally but on a positive note it would be a good place to visit if they concentrated on restricting entry when the park is full and not blatantly profiteering as the rides are ok and the staff are friendly (just need to drop the "enjoy your day" robot speech!).
Shame on you legoland for spoiling what could be a brilliant experience by putting profit first.
