Fantastic Canadian Adventure

Firstly, I would like to thank the person who helped us arrange the trip, great advice, great tips and great personal service.
The Rocky Mountaineer journey and the organisation was excellent. First class service and great fun with the crew too!!
Highly recommend the Gold Leaf Service it is worth it! Stunning scenery, great wildlife (especially seeing black bears!) and some exceptional hotels. We did have a major issue with one hotel but our tour person dealt with it in a very professional manner and resolved it very efficiently and quickly for us. There were some fantastic highlights of this special adventure especially Lake Louise and the Fairmont Chateau there, the Athabasca Glacier was fabulous, so great to be able to walk on it. We also stayed in Vancouver, such a great city, we thoroughly enjoyed walking in Stanley Park. Victoria on Vancouver Island was such a lovely place to be, walking around the harbour, using the water taxis(such fun) and staying in the Fairmont Empress Hotel was a joy. Butchart gardens are a must, so beautiful with all the trees and flowers. We also did a whale watch out and we're lucky enough to see a pod of twenty seven orcas. We both had the most amazing time and I hope to return again one day. We cannot thank our tour adviser from Rocky Peak Holidays enough!!
