A very confusing exercise with a prompt response followed by a cancellation BEFORE the provisional booking offered, then a provisional booking with a ONE HOUR deadline to pay before cancellation (again!)with a threat that I may not get a refund if I delay at all, then an automated cancellation (again!) and then, following a phone call to a very helpful and pleasant young lady, who was, however, unable to copy the ref number as she reversed two of the digits three times, finally a confirmed... I have been to the Kruger Park many times during my childhood and have always had fond memories of the place. I recently took a friend from Germany there and was appalled at the change. Not only was the staff consistently unhelpful and unfriendly, but the camp that we were staying at (Malelane) appeared to be set in the middle of an industrial sprawl.
