We were very disappointed. Although she was dropped off at the collection / leaving point in Cockspur Street in plenty of time, things rapidly went wrong. The tour guide left her (79 year old Australian who had never previously visited London) chasing along behind the group, she inadvertently got onto the wrong bus but the right bus did not wait or indeed appear to know that she was not on board. Eventually, she and another older New Zealand couple, who had also been left behind, had to catch a taxi and eventually caught up with the tour, I believe, at St Paul's Cathedral. Whilst she did enjoy what was left of the tour, in my opinion an ESCORTED tour should, as a very minimum, include a tour guide with a passenger list. All passengers should then be checked on and off the coach at each stop - particularly older passengers with no familiarity of London. As with this guest, they could be left in a precarious situation trying to catch up or getting back home. This needs a serious re-think from the tour operator. Thanks

Just an addendum to this review - we were very pleasantly surprised to take a call from Evans Evans regarding the mishap with the previous tour. They have offered a further tour FOC and this offer will be taken up tomorrow. It is always very good to see any operator standing behind their product. Assuming it all goes 'swimmingly', I will be very happy to add a positive review of the later tour.

Hi Peter,
We've been following this story quite closely, and I do hope your relative enjoyed her tour this morning.
