We have Just return from a Rusian river cruise on MS Chernyshevsky with Archers. On arrival we found our ships cabin, although small and clean was extremely tierd and In desperate need of refurbishment. During our first two days on board in St Petersburg the evening meals were extremely disappointing, being very very poor quality and no menue choice ( with the first nights meal consisting of a clear water soup with a few string vegetables followed by small portion of spagehetti toppled with a few small pieces of meat) this was certainly not the evening meal standard we would normally expect on a Archers holiday. However, once the cruise ship left St Petersburg the menue choice and quality of food improved, but unfortunately on several occasions our meals ( together with others guests ) were served cold and had to be re-heated.
Over the past twelve years we have enjoyed numerous world wide holidays with Archers and during this period we have
never had any reason to complain. This situation has been great disappointment and feel we could not recommend this holiday.o
