DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON The Tomy Walkabout Premier Advance, it has caused me more sleepless nights that the baby! The interference is so intense, it sounds like a hundred angry moths trying to get out of a paper bag! By the time you can vaguely recognise your baby's murmurs beyond this, it's too late to resume her sleep. I found the monitor generally very good. However you cannot by the batteries in Australia. You can purchase them only from the UK at a total cost of almost $40. The battery died in our monitor after only a year.

We bought this monitor 6 months ago and it seemed to be great at first but now the inteference is now so bad we can no longer use it and are buying a new one.... don't waste your money!
