Found toaster very easy to use, and good to look at, and toasts evenly. However, it failed to switch off on one occasion and scorched kitchen cupboards. Subsequent investigation revealed this is a problem common to many of the four slice dualit toasters, so surely this is a design fault which dualit should remedy. Risk of fire is a health and safety risk which ought to concern the firm. The two slice toaster belongs to my mother, who is almost 90, so this could have been more serious if she was less aware. I myself have a four slice dualit toaster, which has , so far, not been a problem, but my confidence has been affected by reading of the experiences of other people.
