I really despair of the comments below. Yes the film was complex and you had to concentrate to follow what was going on. But it was well worth it. It was absorbing, the cast amazing, and a great insight to what the world of espionage was like in that period of history. Don't go into it expecting action. The pace is decidedly slow, but the story could not be told in any other way. Great movie and well worth a couple of hours of your time. (read more)

“Too Complicated”

I saw Tinker Tailor Solider Spy a few weeks ago at the cinema. I was quite excited to go and see it largely because of its A list cast. I wasn't sure what to expect of it and find it a bit hard to rate it now after I've watched. For me, it is one of those films that is just too complicated and needs a lot of thought and thorough concentration, one of those films where there are too many people, all spying on each other and it just makes too much to digest.
