The film is two and a half hour long and some viewers may find this film a bit too long but I found the film riveting to watch but initally I was perplexed at how the two characters intertwined as it took around an hour for their relationship with each other to establish. The back story for the female character (forgot her name) is very interesting but very graphic so some viewers may find some scenes with her upsetting. I hadn't read the book or see the previous version of the film, so wasn't entirely sure what to expect. The film starts off with two parallel story lines, which you know at some point will collide - and collide they do. Daniel Craig is a disgraced journalist who takes up a role of investigating an old mans past, to try and find out who murdered his favourite relative many years ago.
