3 years ago I bought a Samsung LCD TV series 6. About 9 months ago I started seeing some horizontal lines across my screen. Now it got to the point where the screen is completely filled with lines and different color hue. Samsung won't repair the TV because it's out of warranty. I also had bought extended warranty with BJs but ofcourse it expired like 3 months before these lines started to appear.
So now I'm stuck with a TV that I pay $2,000.00 and not repair. for this amount of money your TV should die on you for at least 5 years. But knowing this, I'll buy SONY now, cause they have better quality product. I will not recommend Samsung to anybody.

Hi Flacco10,
Don't worry it's not a huge issue I had the same thing just a week after I bought the TV. All you have to do is adjust the TV ASPECT for example 16:9 etc.... Then if that dosen't fix it you will need to adjust the size of picture on your screen, for example Screen Fit: Zoom, Fit to Screen, Stretch, 2x Zoom, Widescreen, etc, etc...... When the feed is lower for ex. commercials and channels that are not 1080 or 720. If your on a channel that is full 1080p/i and you see it, you will have to go back and forth between the two settings until it dissapears.
Samsung as a company should be more proactive with helping people, or just fixing the issue so it dosen't happen again. Anyways good luck and happy watching.......
It's exactly what happened to me and it worked. But it's not going to be perfect, because you are seeing these lines when the feed is not HD1080p/i.
