I really reccomend this scope, despite it is not as "luminous" as high quality scopes, turrets are perfect, the magnification is really nice, side focus adjustement with a side wheel (homemade) have made me capable of reaching first prizes in local challenges and tournaments. I am using this scope mounted on a CO2 National Rifle "tuned" by myself in order to have better results.
I do not know if it is "Shock-proof" but if you mount it on a PCP or CO2 rifle you will not have any problem.
