Bought this as a basic introduction to astrophotography and it's supposed to be able to image the solar objects like the moon, mars , saturn etc. It manages to image the moon fairly well although it may get in too close with some telescopes. Tried to image planets but it just does not seem to be able to do this. I think that it has not enough light gathering ability.
