I moved to the Wandsworth area and as usual was deluged with mountains of pizza delivery and takeaways menus through the door. One of these was for Firezza pizza in Earlsfield. The menu claimed to be one of the best in London with celeb lovers. The thing that swung it for me was the woodfired oven. Having been to Naples I have never had a pizza since that matches the one I had there on holiday.

I ordered their Bufalina D.O.C as you can't go wrong with a classic margarita pizza and this one came with buffalo mozzarella and slow roasted cherry tomatoes. It arrived really quickly (I think with 15 mins of ordering!) and came with a free focaccine bread. It was amazing, really tasty and huge! They serve it in yards so you can order a min of half a yard and have two different toppings. Half a yard between two people is loads. We ended up eating the rest for lunch. Just one tip: be careful when eating the pizza as they normally have black charcoaly bits on the bottom where it has cooked in the oven. I ended up with black on my face the first time and didn't notice for ages ;)

Really recommend giving them a go if there is a Firezza in your area. The coleslaw and chicken wings are really good too.
