I bought some of their electronic pepper/salt mills only to discover that they wouldn't grind pepper. Three batches and two different designs later they never sent a single mill that would work properly. They also declined to refund return postage, as requested, on every occasion until they were phoned and chased (calls charged at 10p per minute from a BT landline). Enticed into buying the peppermill fortnight ago. I'm disabled and the idea of grinding pepper at the touch of a button appealed enormously. Stupidly I didn't even consider the possibility of it being complete and utter rubbish as Chinese production is cheap and generally fair quality these days sio though the actual product wasn't costing much I nsively thought the company was going to make its decent profit margin from the mega hefty postage & packing charges. At the same time as I bought the can openner from Jean Patrique I also bought some electric salt/pepper mills. These we gave as a gift to our German friends when we went to vivit them in April. They each required four AA batteries each before they could be used. We bought these in Germany so our friends could use them. Imagine our horror when they having set and filled them pressed the button to start, the casing came apart from the internals and these fell right into a meal. The starter... (read more)

I ordered the jean patrique electronic salt and pepper mill. reduced from £50 to £10. After waiting almost two months for them, I was first of all disgusted by the product I had received. The quality is terrible. My salt never worked and my pepper gave up after three grinds.
Since then I complained to the Company who promised a reply in 24 hours. I have been waiting over a month. I have asked them numerous times to stop sending me junk emails and low and behold almost on a daily basis I... (read more)

This company is a total con. We ordered the salt and pepper mills but have not received the goods and when we try to email them they reply saying they cannot trace our order, even although we sent them the copy of the order confirmation they sent us. Tried to phone them but then realised it's a premium rate number and they don't answer it. Have now tried to resolve this through the PayPal resolution centre - hopefully will get our money back.

Cheap junk, I bought the salt and pepper battery operated mills, they took over a month to arrive after about 10 phone calls to the expensive 087- number, when they arrived one was broken in the box, I didn't have the will to try complaining as the staff are impossible to get hold of, binned the lot and wrote off the whole thing

Jean Patrique have completely mucked up my return. Not reimbursed the full amounts. Salt/Pepper mills keep breaking so they clearly have a fault but JP wont acknowledge this and blamed the manufacturer when I spoke to them. For a company purporting to sell high end goods the service & quality I received is absolute rubbish! (read more)
