I've recently bought an iPad and as usual with Apple products, I love the user-friendly interfaces, design, etc. What I hadn't appreciated was how useful it could be as a personal TV/ cinema. With two teenage kids in the house, there are the usual fights for what we watch on TV when we are all at home some evenings. I find the iPad, combined with BBC iPlayer, means I can watch what I'd like to, in any room in the house.

I've also found this aspect really useful on longer train journeys and flights.
