The Killing (the original Danish version) is one of the best TV series I have ever seen. The plot unfolds over 24 episodes and centres on the murder of a young girl in Copenhagen. Three stories evolve in tandem. The first follows the efforts of the Police, particularly lead character Sarah Lund and her partner Jan Meyer in solving the case.
