I bought a Voucher for a pair of earrings in December/2011 through Groupon. They were a pair of Swarovski solitaire platinum earrings that I supposed to give as a Christmas gift.
I redeemed my voucher on the 14th December, and then after 9 - 10 days I received a necklace instead? So I contacted Groupon and the Jewellery Channel straight away, and they sent me a pre-paid envelope after a week or so in order to return their mistake, the necklace. So I did it in the first week of January.
I waited for 4 weeks and did not receive my pair of earrings and did not hear anything from them neither. Therefore, I phoned them again and they did not know why I didn’t receive my purchase. They said they would send me the earrings.
So I waited for more 3 weeks: no earrings, no responses. Phoned them again on the 2nd March and, as I was very upset, I asked them to not bother sending me the earrings, but obviously, I requested a refund.
Conclusion: We're in April. After 4 months of purchasing a pair of earrings, I did not get them and did not get my money back neither.
I’ve just called Groupon and they say they will chase my refund for me. So let's see how many months that's going to take!
To avoid hassle, my suggestion is: stay away from the Pair Groupon and The Jewellery Channel.
