CLOSE THEM DOWN

This Company should be taken off air as their customer services is the worst ever. Not only are they based in India and to understand them is difficult to say the least, you end up paying a fortune on telephone bills and still don't get the information you called about. On purpose they keeping you hanging on racking up your telephone bill, not theirs, maybe they get a bonus for doing this.

My first encounter was last year when I wanted to send a large bulky item back as it did not work properly. After much passing around their offices from one person to another I got this numptie (who obviously thought he was being funny) telling me to look in a book called 'yellow pages' and pick a firm. When I became angry at this suggestion he merely put the phone down on me. I vowed never to use them again.

Silly me, my mother-in-law saw a tunic that she really wanted so I ordered it for her. I was charged £4.99 for postage even though it took 5 days to reach me. It was screwed up in a cheap plastic bag even though it was costing £30, but better still not only was it the wrong size it was the wrong colour.

I have tried to get through to get them to pay for the return postage, even sending emails. Their policy states that customer services could take up to a week to respond to emails, ah yes so that would mean that in all probability this will exceed the time limit of 14 days to return the item and then they won't give you any refund. I did think to send it without postage but I daresay that they are so untrustworthy they will add it on to my account. So another £5 to pay out for their mistake. Plus I would probably have to spend more than that on the telephone call and endless conversation about return pre-paid postage.

No matter which way you try you cannot get through to a UK based office and speak with someone whom you can understand what you want.

I think Trading Standards should investigate this compamy immediately.

I certainly won't fall into the trap of using Ideal World again until they review their customer service policy, treat their customers with respect and perhaps base themselves in the UK and not India or wherever they trade from and employ people who speak good fluent English.
