Came across this site and took a look at some of the reviews of Gems TV and was amazed at how much better my experinces seem to have been than some of these other reviewers. I have probably bought too much from them this year but would say that virtually everything I have bought has been well worth what I paid for it. Things I didn’t like I sent back ( and was credited back quickly) One niggle I do object to them insisting that they set 18K quality stones in silver because they don’t but any intelligent person could figure that out for themselves! My most expensive purchase a 1 carat diamond ring has had loads of great comments. Also asked two friends one of whom has lots of diamonds and the other whose father is jeweller what they thought (before removing the tag and they said it looked fine! Had just two faulty items from my extensive haul a friendship bracelet which unravelled and an earring hook that snapped but both were replaced very quickly and the post age swiftly refunded. Their customer service team are utterly fantastic and the DPD delivery services the best I have experienced. Have learnt a shed load about exotic gems and believe I have more than had value for money maybe I’ve just been lucky incidentally I bought a bracelet from Ernest jones and a stone fell out of that !

I've too had a number of poor experiences with jewellery bought in high street stores, especially the thinner gold chains ones that break as soon as you touch them (probably because to keep the price down they're too fine to last) and many of the jewellery designs look similar whereas Gems TV have a number of hand made items and some eye-catching, different designs.
But sure nobody's perfect and a lot of it's down to quality control. The difference is the excellent service I've received on the odd occasion when an accent stone has been lost or once due to a proud claw on a cabochon cut stone.
