i bouhgt a pair of sapphire earings this week for £75. i was expecting inclusions in the stones but the quality of the setting was terrible. the earings wouldn't last morethan a week if i wore them. I can't believe they get away with this standard. even though the prices seem good value the quality is appauling. i won't buy from them again

Keep the receipt, and when you have time take the items to the Trading Standards Department at your local Council Offices. Also try searching through the newspapers for the section where "Shoddy" purchases are investigated. If nobody complains, they continue to con the general public, even if one particular person does not buy again, there are always others to con. The standard of the gold work is disgusting, paper thin, and as you say, would not stand up to a week of wearing. Gems TV obviously do not employ Quality Control, unless their standard of workmanship really is so low - why do they not read these reviews?
