I have bought a lot of itesm from Gems TV (my mother too) and in the main I have kept the items as they seemed excellent value for money.
After six months of occasional wear my most expensive purchase of a tanzanite and diamond ring - the tanzanite stone fell out without me noticing and I am left with a gaping hole where the main stone used to be. I contacted Gems and after a battle with their customer services I did get a partial refund. They offered to source another stone for me (at my expense) but the jewellers they employed could not find a similar size and quality stone!
In addition to this I have lost count of the jewelry that now have missing stones - some I can get away with wearing as the missing 'diamond' is quite small - others are totally unwearable - including a £80 neon apatite gold pendant, similar 'matching' silver ring and some cluster rings of varying stones.
I will not buy from Gems TV again.
I would consider most of their pieces 'throw away' items which makes the initial feeling of 'value for money' totally redundant.
The problem with getting the items fixed or replaced is that you pay more for that than the item is worth - which makes it officially a 'write off' in my book.
Such a shame that they just don't live up to their own claims of quality items.

I agree with you totally. I have brought several items and the stones have fallen out within days. Although gems tv have replaced or changed the items my confidence has been knocked. My latest item a blue diamond .60ct ring turned up and the "diamond" is chipped.
Will not buy anything from them again.

I agree, countless stones have fallen out and very cheap stones they are. There is no value for money and their constant High Street Valuations are a joke.
