Im a bit of an insomniac and have been watching a lot of gems tv lately. Decided to order a low priced silver ring to test their quality and customer service standards. Ring arrived on time but they invoiced me twice which was confusing as I thought I may be charged twice, rang customer services and was spoken to rather abruptly.
The ring is of OK quality but a few of the settings are wonky when scrutinised but I guess it was ok for the price..
Ordered a second ring a few weeks later and I mistakenly entered my card details on payment wrong (totally my fault!) so called customer services and gave my details again, was told everything was ok and my order would be processed. However 2 days later I got a call from gems tv to ask when I would be paying, I explained that I gave my details a few days before and was told my order and payment were confirmed? They had no record of this, so I had to give my details again and the ring was sent out.
The ring was a really pretty mystic topaz ring which initially I was very happy with, however one of the stones fell out after an hour of wear!!
To give them credit, they accepted my return and credited my account plus all shipping costs within a few days. Ive now ordered a third ring but this will definitely be my last visit if something goes wrong this time too!
Their items look lovely on tv and on their internet site but Im glad I decided to stick to'testing the water' with a few inexpensive pieces as my experiences so far have been really a mixed bag.
Some of the customer service staff have been really friendly and helpful, others not so.
So in my opinion with Gems tv, you take your chances and have to keep your fingers crossed!

Yes, and you should not have to, they should stop trying to sell stuff that is like "Cracker jewellery". There must be a consumer organisation somewhere that can inspect their dealing, it is not right. They do not listen to comments made over the phone and some of the operators are downright rude, even old Bennett himself does not reply to letters sent to him - he just goes on the TV telling everyone how much he does for charity overseas AT OUR EXPENSE!!! wonderful..
