“TOO EXPENSIVE AND REGIMENTAL”

I started the Waterbabies course with my son when he was 16 weeks old and completed the beginners course and the intermediate course.I wasn't able to attend the subsequent course and started classes at a local swim school which are much better and at a fraction of the price (£24 for 7 weeks which could be paid as you go or in a one go but cost would be carried over if you couldn't attend a class).Things I didn't like about waterbabies :(1)definately over-priced for what you get (you're rushed out of the pool so that the next class could begin and the changing rooms were not clean) (2)no refund if you are unable to make a class or deducting the money which you have paid from the next course (3)pushy with the photo shoots (we used an underwater camera at a local pool and got very good results) (4)initial photo shoots priced at £45 which some mothers took up only to find out a few weeks later that the cost had been dropped to £25 as there hadn't been enough demand (5)very regimental, you go from one task to another without time for much fun with your baby (6)really push the underwater swims which some babies did not enjoy and got really distraught (7)the location was changed on one occasion to a hotel in the city centre which did not have enough car parking for mums (a few got booked), inadequate changing rooms and we were only allowed to use a third of the pool which was insufficient space for all of the mums and babies.
