I have previously had a 10ft Intex pool which was brilliant, however after heavy use was in need of replacing. Whilst shopping I came across the bestway 10ft pool which by design and price was very similar to our old intex. Be warned the picture on the side is where the similarities end, the quality is no where near the intex pool, it felt much cheaper. Knowing it only had to last a few weeks over the summer I wasn’t to concerned so filled this for the kids yesterday, same garden l, same place, however I noticed as it got about 3/4 full that it was leaning and sagging on one side. I had set this up exactly the same way as the old one but the weight of the water just seemed to be rolling the side wall over (something that never ever happens on the intex) and by this point the weight of the water is to much to do anything about it. Last night and this morning we have had two complete collapses of the side water losing substantial amount of water. Will be binning it later and will order a intex replacement. Save your money and buy an intex in the first place.

If you are putting this on a deck or other 100% level base you may be okay, but if you're putting this in a yard that is not 100% flat (whose is?) then you are totally screwed. We have now spent 3 days filling, draining, putting dirt and sand under the low sides and then re-filling, just to have it become un-level again over night and have to drain and start over again... How much water are you comfortable wasting and how many hours and extra time do you feel like dedicating to a temporary pool? In my opinion for this much work and extra cost we have ended up putting in so far buying a permanent pool would be way more worth it. Neighbor got an actual pool and it was dug out, set up, and ready to go within hours... we're now almost a half a week in trying to make this awful sad excuse for a pool work. If we hadn't bought it at a Kmart going out of business (final sale) I would be returning it for a refund. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

If this is customer service then Bestways have a lot to learn ?? Ordered 10ft pool on Monday and paid extra for delivery 1 to 2 days so expected delivery at the latest on Wednesday ..... On Wednesday didn't receive any notification of delivery ..... strange so called Bestways customer service and was told yes it will be delivered today Wednesday. Received an Email at 3pm saying we have refunded your delivery charge ? No mention of when the pool was going to be delivered though . I then phoned them and after 10mins waiting I was then informed the pool hasn't even left the warehouse and should expect delivery not on Thursday but sometime on Friday ... Shocking so called Customer Service !!!

Bought for the grand kids . level ground not needed as we have a decking area that is as flat as a pancake . The volume of water the pool takes is too much for the single inflatable ring to hold Up, this lead's to the sides bulging and pulling the ring ever lower until the water empties it's self. And just to make things worse bestway say it should not be used if it is in direct sunlight, as the material will stretch. So if you want a useless bit of plastic that bulges when you fill it and flood's your patios constantly buy a plastic bag ,it's cheaper and does the same job.

Bestway Fastset pool. Faulty from new. Setup exactly as pef instructions. Found a seem was leaking once filled. On a water meter, so unwilling to takeout all the water to return the product or to make a proper repair. Bestway customer service failed to respond. Avoid this brand.

So sadly hard to rate it overall as didn't get to use it on the hottest day of the year. It wouldn't stay inflated, so couldn't fill it - two upset kids. I would hope it was a one off fault, but when I called to flag it, I was advised very long call queues on their customer service line so maybe not the only person with a problem??

This is the worst pool ever. This pool as always lean 2 One Direction no matter how level the ground it's I feel this pool is a defective one and I would advise no one to ever buy one. Then maybe the quality will come up. And for the ring with a air as always leak so I had to constantly keep filling it up. Due to the fact that's cool who's winning it was dumb most of the water out. This was nothing but a piece of junk

The title says it all, no filters available for this product. Very frustrating to say the least. Go with the Intek brand pool, their filters and parts are readily available.

The set-up, liner and ladder are average but the pump is too weak, it will not circulate chemicals properly which has caused me to overspend to maintain chemical balance and control algae. I've owned this pool for two months and am dissatisfied. I owned an Intek pool before that had a strong pump and never had the problems I have with this pool.

We bought an 8' pool last year and have been pretty happy with it. I made the mistake of trying to buy some accessories for it recently. Bestway use DX for deliveries who seem totally disorganised. They failed to deliver 3 times and then delivered to the wrong address. They keep you hanging on for ages on a premium rate number. I estimate I've spent around £10 on trying to sort out delivery. I tried to complain to Bestway. They don't answer the phone, but keep you on hold forever with a bewildering array of options given to you on recorded messages. I sent 3 emails to aftersales and have not received one reply. Having now finally got the accessories, one of them has parts missing and broken. God knows how I sort it out when Bestway ignore their customers.

Might of bought a dud looking at rest of the reviews but really disappointed that the air valve leaks air constantly so a cover won't stay on and it collapses constantly !

We recently bought a bestway 10' x 30" pool and flitter, we love it we have a smll garden it fits perfectly. We also purchased a solar cover, a heater, chlorine tablets, testing sticks and a I tez swimming pool cover.... The Intex pool covers several matching holes of approximately 1/2 inch diameter, these holes don't show on the pictures, should they be ther? Are they there for a reason? Help please

I've had my pool 4 years and its as fab now as the day I bought it. I recommend people are careful where they place there pool because once you start filling you can't move it. I don't have a problem with build of pool.....if it is put up correctly then you have few problems. Drainage is a pain.....remember to set it up with drainage hole close to a drain. Once pool stops emptying I weigh pool down with sand bag to complete. This is an investment as you can use for many years.

the inflatable ring on our 48' Bestway/Intex pool almost drowned a child who swam across the pool, under water, and tried to come up. the pool slopes in towards the top and you can get caught under the inflatable ring and be trapped. luckily, he was pulled out from under the ring by another swimmer. i have asked bestway for a recall but no response after lengthy complaints. the pools are fun but an accident is waiting to happen.

I bought this pool at the end of season the year before last and am very impressed with it. My daughter, who is five, was able to swim in it as it was just about deep enough. We can't wait to get it out. I have managed to buy the chemicals for under £25 in a local toy shop and also a spare ladder as the children wanted one each. It was only £10. I am definately going to take the time this year to level the ground a little better though. I have also already preordered enough filters from john lewis to last the season and a new cover as I used last years cover to keep the bbq dry all winter!

The Bestway Fast pool is quick and easy to set-up. I had to watch it fill up so I could remove the wrinkles in the bottom easily. My backyard is un-level so I didn't fill the pool to complete capacity. But it is full enough. I haven't had a problem with the top ring deflating so far. If it does, I'll put all that hot air my son waste on dumb stuff to good use. Simple.
Just like any other pool, large or small, go buy all chemicals and test strips before hand. (Wal-Mart pool starter kit is best). I found out the hard way and if you don't you will be sorry. Green is not the new clear, ok people. Also, purchase a better pool cover as the one that comes with it sucks.
Me and my family love it and have spent hours enjoying the pool day and night.
Far as the replacement filters, #58168 on ebay for 10 bucks. tadah!

We bought The Bestway Fast-Set Pool - 10' x 30" at Aldis last summer for $60. Setup was fairly simple. Pay close attention to selection or provision of a level site. Our site was about 3" off level. The weight of the water began to distort the inflatable top ring; which then allowed the whole water bag to gradually shift downhill. Long story short--after a couple of weeks we had to empty; haul dirt; level the site and refill the pool. Replacement filters are not available here in Oklahoma. We found filters with the same exterior dimensions for the 58144 pump. The center holes were too small for our pump. We are considering whether to buy a new pool to get a new pump; or whether to buy a new pump at nearly 1/2 the price of a pool. With careful cleaning, we were able to use the same original filter for an entire season.

Bestway Fast-Set Pool - 10' x 30" - The pleasure of this pool may have been taken away from me a bit as me and my husband had to spend a week levelling out an area in the garden for it to lay. That aside I was very impressed with the sturdy build of it. I was able to set the pool out and fill it on my own which was good. I decided to get an early start and began to fill the pool at 9am, 7 hours later the pool was filled. The kids were still able to play about anyway as the sides rise as it fills. If you want to use the pool to relax on a lilo or for inflatable toys for the children I would not recommend any smaller than the 10ft. You can get one lilo and a dragon on comfortably. I decieded to leave the filter and heater til the next day. This was another matter entirely! I presumed they could be left outside and simply switched on at the start of the day for a few hours before the pool is used but I was very wrong. You cannot use the pool when these are running as there is cables everywhere. You will need a circuit breaker switch too. The filter and heater are attatched together by one pipe then into the pool at each end it makes for a very cumbersome piece of equipment. You have to be so fast and careful when removing the stoppers and pipes as you can get quite a flood as we found out! I am now considering selling the filter and heater as I have enough chemical treatment to last the summer and a solar cover - fingers crossed for sun, I am in England after all. Even with the heater on for two hours there did not seem even the slightest change in temperature. Maybe a full run for 48 hours or so would do the trick but can you risk leaving electric cables outside running all night? I still think I am yet to enjoy my new pool but maybe on a hotter day. Maybe dont try to be fancy like me and have all the gear just accept it as a large paddling pool but with treated water.

The message is clear; you have to supervise children when in these pools and then no one will drown!

obviously! the adult pulled him out. when all the fun is happening and you turn to wipe the splashes from your eyes, a swimmer can 'disappear'.
like i said, thepool and inflatable ring should tilt more outward so that someone doesn't get caught when trying to come up at the edge.
