BESTWAY 13ft 7in x 7ft 1in x 48in FRAME SWIMMING POOL I bought one of these pools, at first it was ok. After a year I noticed the welded seams at the top of the pool were failing. As this pool contains about ten tons of water I was concerned that if the welded seams gave way completely ten tons of water could cause serious damage to persons and property. I contacted Bestway and found them very unhelpful as the pool was out of warranty, eventually after sending them pictures and saying I would contact trading standards on a safety issue they agreed to replace the liner. As it was coming to the end of summer I did not fit the new liner and waited for next spring. When fitting the new liner I noticed a couple of repair patches had been used on one of the bottom welded seams, thinking these were done by bestway I continued to erect the pool. When erected and filled I noticed water coming from one of the bottom corners, it was only a small amount so I decided to live with it. Three months later I noticed one of the top welded seams had failed, the same as the previous liner. By this time I had had enough and dismantled the pool and sent it to the rubbish dump. I do not recommend this pool or any like it, bestway customer service is non existent if your item is out of warranty. These pools are potentially dangerous and life threatening if a welded seam fails, they are badly made and do not last, do not waste your money.
