I ordered a bottle of port as a gift. I cannot comment on the actual port itself but the overall service was excellent. Speedy delivery and a well wrapped package. I paid extra for the gift box and am happy with this. Would use this company again.

Over the past year, I purchased two expensive bottles from this site to help celebrate the 50th birthday of both a dear friend and my wife. While I was disappointed that the one for my friend was "off", I was appalled at the Port I purchased for my wife, which she hung onto for a special occasion was rubbish. I recently visited Seppeltsfield in the Barrosa Valley, South Australia and sampled their 50 year old port, just stunning. While the packaging was excellent and the delivery on time, I would never buy from this site again because of the product.

I ordered from vintage wine and port on the strength of the reviews and that they put their address and number on their website. I needed some help with the choice and I ended up speaking to the wine buyer - very knowledgeable. Goods arrived promptly and well packaged. Yes I would use again.

I ordered a wine from another company (Wine Memories) that never arrived. I needed a gift and was a little apprehensive about ordering from another internet company. I went with VWAP as they actually put their telephone number on the website. I phoned up VWAP and spoke to a real person - the service and advice was spot on and they managed to deliver my wine gift next day - even though I did not pay for express service. It arrived well packaged.

Just like to add my comments to the string of good reviews this company has. I needed some advice on a port for a christening so called up - a very knowledgeable lady Di spent 15 minutes explaining what a vintage port was and which year I should buy. I was originally going to buy a late bottled vintage port - but she said that this would not keep for 20 years. Based on my budget (less than £50) she recommended a croft 2011 which was not the most expensive for the year but had good reviews. It arrived very well wrapped and she rather kindly upgraded the box to a stained wooden box. it is this nice touch that led me to write this review!. The gift card for the bottle is quite a nice touch and they should make a lot more of it. It is nice to deal with a company and a real person that cares. I will certainly order from Vintage Wine and Port again.

Wonderful! Had initially ordered this gift from another company (Vintage Wine Gifts) but was told on the day it was supposed to be delivered that they were out of stock so left in a total bind. As the gift was for a 50th birthday gift for fiancé's boss, we scrambled to find another company and came across Vintage Wine and Port. Placed an order for next day delivery to get it in time. Received the item today and it's in perfect condition. The 50 year old port came in a beautiful box and was well packaged. Thank you for saving the day!!!

Great company . I ordered a vintage port from 1944 for my father's 70th birthday. I expected it to arrive in a week and was on my door in 2 days, impressed with the presentation and the how- to -enjoy -port- booklet. Highly recommended

This company has an amazing range of port. Reading the other reviews I can confirm that the service is outstanding. My experience was that I ordered quite a few bottles. Someone called me up the next day to sag that there was a problem with one of the older bottles - he offered to replace it with a more expensive bottle. I appreciate the honesty many companies would have just sent it out. Goods arrived well packed and as described - VMT

I would recommend vintage wine and port 100 percent. My son brought me a 50 year old bottle of port and it was amazing - I have since ordered the same for my friend and it was a much lower price than other sites. The staff were courteous and patient with my questions - the port arrived promptly and was well packaged The gift note was a nice touch. Outstanding

I love this company and will use them again. I purchased a 1964 Taylor's port and it arrived next day. We had the port for our 50th wedding anniversary - it was wonderful.

I know nothing about wine but when I contacted vintage wine and port, the sales guy spent a lot of time explaining the various differences. In the end he recommended a 1964 Taylor's port. It arrived the next day and it was well packed and presented. The port was for a 50 the and we opened it a week later. Wow it blew my mind away. I have never tried an expensive wine and the port was amazing. Thank you for helping to make my birthday special

I order wine from Vintage Wine and Port and received my item very quickly unfortunately there was a problem with the bottle not the fault of the company just one of these things. I informed them of this and their customer service regarding this issue was absolutely second to none. It is refreshing to deal with such a friendly, helpful company who have excellent communication skills. They went out of their way to resolve the issue and provide me with a replacement wine in time for giving it as the gift it was intended. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again in the future.
