Having been interested in cake decorating for a few years now, I can honestly say, hand on heart that this is the best place to go if you want quality products, reasonable/competitive prices and a warm, friendly helpful welcome. Never have I once had a bad experience whilst shopping here - quite the opposite!! The staff have always been willing to offer me advice on any aspect of cake decorating which is free!! They don't have to - after all, if you are making a cake for someone then its one less cake going through their shop. But no, always helpful, always cheerful and when I recently got married and decided that I didn't want the pressure of making my own cake, quite frankly it was a no brainer as to who to ask!! Our 4 tier fruit cake was stunning - classy, elegant and exactly what we had asked for. Moreover, the cake inside was beautifully moist and (unfortunately for me) far better than any fruit cake I have ever made!
The shop is always well stocked with a wide variety of products and a ribbon selection that would rival any other!! I always find what I am looking for and have been informed many a time that should I need anything ordering, then it wouldn't be a problem to order in.
I'm sorry that other people have used this site to leave less favourable reviews - and who am I to say that you are wrong. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion after all. But I just felt compelled after reading some of the reviews to leave my own, positive one. Because this place,and all who work there are fantastic producing high quality celebration cakes at very affordable prices.
