We bought a £300 plus TV for my chair bound mum in her nursing home and it stopped working in under 2 years. They CRUELLY would not fix it for her as it was over 1 year old - very hypocritical when you have to listen to how caring the company is on their recorded messages.

they only have a responsibility for a year, after that it falls under the manufacturer. It is not cruel they have to treat all customers fairly. If they fixed your Mother's they would have to fix everyone's in a similar time frame and that would not be feasible.
