A trip across town to use a gift card took us to shop at an occasional venue. We had a substantial list of fresh vegetables to buy. Generally the prices were much higher that those we are used to (in fact I said to my husband, shall we put this all back and go to Asda?). Pears - £2.50 a small bag! Leeks - dehydrated and stale at £2.70 a kg. No honeydew melons, surely that is unheard of?
Of course brand match told us we had saved lots, but then they bung their profits on the unbranded products. Do they think we are stupid?
