Aldi is incredible! An amazing chain of shops. The staff do seem to work like dogs, but then is that the price for cheap products?

You don't tend to get that many of the big brands there (although when they are there they are very very cheap), but Aldi are focused on making their own brand goods quality as good as the big brands (as there very funny advertising suggests).

We now use Aldi for as much shopping as we can, and then we fill in with bits from other supermarkets. All in all it probably saves us over a £200 per month and some things we get there like their Salmon Wellington are jyst fantastic.

Tesco, Sainsbury etcshould sit up and take note of the Aldi model. It is more than likely the way forward for British retail - lower margins, less service but much happier customers!
