I was on my annual vacations back in July when I acquainted with Crown Tailor. As I was roaming around the streets of Bangkok, one shop grasp by attention and it was Crown Tailor. As I enter the shop (with no intension of purchasing anything) I was amazed by their collection, that ‘jet black broad lapel suit’ on the left was superb (if you have visited their shop you’ll know what I’m taking about). Then it was the matter of seconds, I order a similar broad lapel jacket along with an Italian styled sky bluish formal shirt. One thing that I really like about them was their staff’s politeness, they didn’t crowed me like in most of the shops in Bangkok and of course my custom made jacket & Italian styled formal shirt, they are superbly sized and extremely comfortable.

I’m a business man by profession so formal wear is almost second skin to me. Over the course of many years, I’ve had the opportunity to shop worldwide and I can honestly claim that the prices at which these guys are offering their services, I certainly never have had a better experience than at Crown Tailor in Bangkok. I was first introduced to the Crown Tailor through a client. Over the years I’ve become friends with him and am a regular customer at the store. The same goes for my wife. It is incredibly convenient now because it is a one stop shop for us both. Not only do they provide formal wear but they also have many casual pieces to offer. My wife is particularly a fan mixing and matching items that are a part of their design collection. Shirts, blouses, pants and dress design that can alternate between trendy casuals to dressy formals by only subtly changing the combination. They have a huge variety of colour, shape, cut and pattern to fit any mood or occasion. You simply select your style and fabric, give on the spot measurements and your order is ready with a few days. The suits are remarkably comfortable while appearing very dignified I have always taken my time browsing through their selection of fabrics at my leisure. Their customer service is exceptional. During my first visit Sam and Mana had immediately put me at ease and encourage me to take my time in making a final choice. They are always at hand – unless on-course they are travelling in which case the rest of the staff is just as courteous – with helpful advice. Even my wife is a fan of the two and would consult them without hesitation. In fact, this one time I couldn’t find the kind of fabric I was looking for. I described it to Mana and Lop and within minutes they found just the thing! Service is quick and you only have a minimal amount of wait before your order is ready. The folks at Crown Tailor are always punctual and on schedule so you don’t have to worry even about last minute orders. If they promised it at a certain date, rest assured it will be done. In fact, recently I have even taken to ordering online from them. Since they have my measurements already, the trip to the store isn’t always necessary. A few other friends of mine who are not from Bangkok wanted to order once. It was really simple as they forwarded their measurements and made their pick. Since in such cases, one isn’t really sure if the other person will like the material, Crown Tailors were happy to work with a fabric sample. The most remarkable thing, however, is that they are very affordable despite maintaining such high standards. It will never cause a dent in your pocket. In fact, going to Crown Tailor even saves the expense of going around to many places for single items. My wife and I would enthusiastically recommend people to drop by and see for themselves.

I needed an outfit for a formal event that I was going to attend and was absolutely clueless as to where I should look. I’ve only recently moved to Bangkok for a new job. So I don’t know the city well enough but it was very important that I make a good impression at my first formal event for work. I was very sure of the kind of look I wanted: genuine and yet, unique. Particularly, I knew I wanted an unusual, bright colour that would easily stand out because the mood for the occasion that I was supposed to attend was a bit playful. Thankfully, someone suggested Crown Tailor and I paid them a visit. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they are able to cater to the entire breadth from casual to formal. Going through there available styles I found the dress I was looking for in a trendy shade of orange. Additionally, I also found a jacket that I completely fell for. I was compelled to give my measurements on the spot for both and placed an order within minutes. I did not plan to get anything except a single dress but finding that style in a jacket, I could not help myself. It’s a trendy one in white beautifully hemmed by black. I had practically drooled over these when I saw them on the runway recently and could not believe my luck at finding one. Kudos to the team at Crown Tailor, you have my approval! They told me I could collect the dress within a few days and upon learning that I was American, they also told me they have tailor trips around the United States and Canada, which one could easily attend so that’s one tip I’m definitely giving to my friends and family back home. I shall definitely be stopping by again because I was utterly charmed by the assortment of skirts, blouses and pants that are a part of their collection. One can easily mix and match which really gives you a lot of room to create a look that suits you best. The possibilities are endless. This diversity makes it a perfect one stop shop! It’s very convenient if like me, you are also tired of shopping for single items all over the place. Their staffs are also very welcoming. Particularly, Lop who stayed by my side with friendly yet useful advices while I browsed through their collection. It is immediately obvious that these guys really value their customer and their utmost priority is customer satisfaction and not simply a large number of sales. I am pretty sure even if you walk in without a prior decision about what you want you are going to end up ordering something. These guys know what they are doing. My shopping experience at Crown Tailor was great but the best part was at the end when I looked at the bill. You would not believe how reasonably they are priced considering their quality of both product and service. I think this is something you can only find out when you are there yourself.

Shopping for clothes has always been tricky for me because I am very picky but do not always know how to get the results I want. So when I had to get formal wear for a business event right after my vacations in Thailand some months ago, I was not looking forward to it. Besides my visit in Bangkok was rather short only 4 days in Bangkok and then I had 15 days at Phuket to be back for just 2 days before I leave. But as luck would have it, after a few tries here and there, I walked into Crown Tailors and now, I cannot wait to recount my experience. Flanked by the very knowledgeable advisers, I sailed through the entire procedure. They were extremely helpful and patient considering that I was undecided and had no idea about my fit. First, they showed me a range of fabrics, which was mesmerizing with its variety. I was having trouble making my final pick so they asked about the theme of my event and only to able to advise me on the best options. Finally, I selected a navy fabric. They quickly proceeded to take my fit. Then I browsed through their fabric collection and possible styles for shirts and to my sheer delight, found some items to my liking. The collection holds enormous variety and I mixed and matched until I coordinated a shirt with the suit I selected for which they immediately took my fit. Once this ensemble was complete, I realized that since these guys already had my fit and I liked a few extra items as well, why not order those too while I can, so I ordered two more shirts for casual wear. The shirts are from their current collection and are mostly in trendy light colours that would be rather pleasant to wear during the summers. The material is of such good quality that I’m certain it will last me quite a few summers. I was really pleased that Crown Tailor is a one stop shop where I could get all of these outfits because it saved me the time and effort of going to many places especially when I was already running short on time. I’ve bookmarked this store for future purchases as well because I was told I can even order online since now they will save my measurements. Upon my return from Phuket I wanted a little adjustment in the fitting and I was delighted to find out about their in-house fitting service that got it done spot on. This allowed me to try it on and I’m very pleased. It’s comfortable and edgy. One would expect all of these services to come with an exorbitant price tag but thankfully, they are extremely reasonably priced. I for one have been turned into a loyal customer  and I hope to see you again soon during their international trip here.
