I have requested to sell my portfolio on more than one occasion. They make all the right noises when on the phone but nothing ever happens. In reality I don't think my portfolio exists other than on paper. I have had quotes from other brokers to sell but they want to know where the wine is physically kept. I have yet to find out. For me this is a fraudulent business and one to be avoided. Oh and the positive write ups you read are most probably submitted by those involved to entice others into investing. The reality is somewhat different.

After being assured that my investment was secure, I now find that I am being fobbed off, ignored and lied to. Each time I have asked for my wines to be sold some reason has been given that this is not a good time.. Now I am afraid that I may have been cheated out of my life savings and may never see any of my cash. Back!

Over the past years we bought couple of cases of Château Ausone Double Magnum 2005 Saint-Émilion via Vine Capital purely for investment. At a time, we paid over £4.2K for each double magnum case and last week we were informed it's reaching nearly the £6K price tag. After much consideration, we decided to move one of the cases out the bonded service and have now sold the other one at a good profit. I would like to recommend people to invest in fine wine. If you find the right investment house you are in for a treat. The guys at Vine Capital have just deliver to my mailbox a report with the value of my investment which has grown in 18 months 31% and I am ready to cash in thanks to a lovely couple of bottle from Château Mouton-Rothschild. Even though not very popular, I want to recommend wine investments to anyone who can afford "a bit of fun" and of course can control not to drink it.
