Do not touch Selftrade with a barge pole!!

Having read recent comments and reviews, I cannot but agree with all of the comments made.
I am the Hon Sec of a small investment club and earlier on in 2014 went through the very onerous process of providing ID and bank information for each member as part of their records review.
Recently again, I received notice that information was required as part of their records review and, if not provided, access to our account would be removed.
I made contact to find out what information was required but they couldn't tell me! They would apparently investigate and let me know. Two weeks later still nothing heard so rang again. As in the first call, they couldn't tell me what information they wanted but, when asked if they would then remove threats to close access to the account until they could tell me what was required, the agent said that they were not authorised to do that.
I asked to speak to somebody that was suitably authorised and was told 'sorry I cant do that, they have to ring you once they are briefed'!!

No call came, account is now locked. Can't move funds, can't even send a secure email to them!

This company has no idea what customer service is all about and now, being asked whether we wish to transfer to Equinity, we will take the first opportunity to remove our funds and find a decent company to trade with!

What an absolute shower!!!
