Item: Stihl MS 260
I've owned this saw for 3 years now and have used it mostly for cutting firewood. It has never given my any trouble at all. It chews through hardwood all day without complaining.

Item: Stihl MS 260
First engine lasted less than 10 hours. 400 euros later second engin lasted less than 4 hours. Stihl service policy seems to be the customer is wrong. I cannot find a way of buying the parts do do the job myself.
Unable to find a better alternative at this

Had 11 trees across driveway in march. this babyu made the job easy although my back was tired.

In addition to the poor quality of this Stihl MS 361 Chain Saw the dealer support is poor, the dealer repair knowledge is poor and warranty is minimal at best.
Saw has much plastic parts, which are a pain to acquire and its getting worse. It's overpriced for the performance. I think it is best to avoid the Stihl product line especially the consumer line. Before you buy ,carefully shop and compare and I'm you will see that Stihl offers less then all the rest at a higher price. ...
