I think the problem with the ratings for this guitar are that you need to indicate which model of the Bullet you have. the Original Bullet was made in America for two years and then was made in japan starting in 1983 and then it was moved (again) to korea and mexico in the late 80's. the Squier deluxe jazz bass is as good as basses that cost a lot more. very versatile.solid sound and construction. Super bag for the buck! Outstanding build quality.good fret finishing,very good pick ups Super! neck feel. 19m very good string spacing,good sustain. above average paint work. great ...

I think that the Squier Bullet is the worst guitar that Fender makes now. I teach a student who plays one and I've tried to make it work. very shrill sound. Appears cheaply made and feels to me like a toy, Quite plastic-like. If you can afford it, move up a step to a standard Squire.

I got my Squier Standard Strat from a car boot sale...looks a lot more than its worth.
its a fat strat version all black[even the head] white writing..groovy...got a mirror scratch plate.
when i got it neck was a bit out strings had been set ultra high[think he'd been playing it slide..who knows] do ...
